This is the platinum special for myself. It is a redo of an ancient build I had done 7 years ago. At that time, Simpleplanes was limited, so I did not properly recreate Volkswagen W12 in the game. It was so bad that I decided to scrap the name and just name it "an ugly sports car".
Now Simpleplanes is much more powerful. After gaining experience in building potato cars, I think I would like to give this car another attempt. Unfortunately, the part number is still too bloated for a potato build so it is an APAP "as potato as possible" build instead.
Because this is the Syncro version, it has 4WD. The rear end is quite snappy due to low downforce and aggressive tuning but should be controllable with careful steering.

@Ownedpilot impressive build, I wouldn't complain about the part count, at this point every potato phone should run 154 parts with ease, I will tell you honestly that I am impressed by how low the part count is given this thing's looks, I could have sworn it was higher
@Rb2h For me, it is just a part limit. I was basically trying to push below 100 parts. I think a better metric should be performance cost since that determines how hard it is to run a vehicle.
I thought "Potato" was a less detailed version of the real build.

@BYardley Unfortunately, Syncro was not the version that was in GT4, Nardo was. I built Syncro first because I cannot find full drawings for the Nardo variant. Now armed with knowledge on the Syncro, I think I can try the Nardo version. That one will probably not be a potato car because I want to try to build the interior and the engine. But such a build would probably take longer than I would liked.

@Rjenteissussy In my opinion, Volkswagen should have built it because it looks so production-ready. But I guess they cannot afford to let this car compete with cars from Porsche and Audi because that is not the purpose of Volkswagen brand.
