History:
The P-105D was developed in mid-1944. Unlike it's predecessor the P-105C, the P-105D was an air-superiority fighter. It saw service until the end of the war in Europe. After the war it was kept in service all the way up to the Korean War, where it was used mainly as an escort fighter for bombers. It has a cruising speed of around 470 mph GS.
The p-factor is pretty much gone on this one, so it's a little easier to take off.
