This is version two of the barn owl ornithopter. It no longer features a jet engine. 100% throttle is recommended only for take off. For a smoother flight, throttle down to 50%. It is a little heavy so take off takes a while. To take off, don’t pitch completely or you may flip. When your legs are visibly off the ground at least about 10-15 feet (3-5 meters), throttle to 50% and pitch about 20 degrees down so that you can pick up speed. When you’ve picked up enough speed, pitch back up, and you’re off. Landing gear to pull up your legs, and trim to fold the wings. When landing, just get close to the ground, hold brake, and it does the rest. Enjoy.
