Original Version (made by me)

Not much to say

I just figured that the Tu-334 I just made would be a perfect fit for domestic routes on my fictional airline, so I did this!
And no, I haven't forgotten the Singapore Airlines 747-400 (though I do have something I want to make first, so that may only come out end of this year)

(lore) About the RCP Express D-334

Right after the cancellation of the Tu-334 program as mentioned in my original post, RCP Express, the regional subsidiary of RCP Airways, got pretty upset about it. This was due to it having ordered 30 of the type, intended for its domestic and regional routes, only to have the plane cancelled.

Following this, RCP Engineering took matters into its own hands and made a deal to buy the plans and manufacturing rights to the aircraft from the United Aircraft Corporation, which had absorbed Tupolev. The aircraft's name was thus changed from the Tu-334 to the D-334, D being the initial for all of RCP Engineering's commercial aircraft. Besides RCP Express, several Russian airlines renewed their orders for the aircraft after hearing this news.

Production of the D-334 began in October 2009, with the first plane being delivered to RCP Express on 1 November 2009.

RCP Express still flies the type, although it is planning to replace 5 D-334s with 10 D-03-100s to service the RCP's water airports.
