Built onto the airframe of a D20 Heron, the G20 Heron Gunship can pack a lot of firepower in a relatively small frame. The main battery of this craft consists of two launch tubes that house a total of six M42 Archer missiles. Each M42 Archer is a tactical nuke with enough of a blast radius to ruin any enemy's day. The chin gun is a Mark 2488 ''Onager'' Magnetic Accelerator Cannon with some significant upgrades. When the MAC fires, the magnetic recoil absorbers convert the electro-magnetic pulse into a second, then subsequent third charge. After the third shot, the coils overheat, limiting the Onager to a 3 round burst. Flanking the Onager are a pair of modified M5 Talos automated defense turrets. The modifications allow this variant of the Talos to track targets effectively while on the move and also deal with heavily armored ground targets with horrifying ease. For defense of such a large craft, two dorsal turrets contain a total of 80 AAM-50XR anti-fighter missiles. If that still wasn't enough defensive countermeasures, the G20 also has rapid fire high capacity flare dispensers positioned all over the outer hull. The internal volume has plenty of room for additional equipment, ammunition, and any friendly survivors from a skirmish gone wrong. The engines have also been upgraded, allowing the G20 to gain an impressive amount of airspeed rather quickly, despite the additional aerodynamic difficulties over the base craft.

*AG8 OFF: Forward Flight Mode (gyroscopic stabilizer disabled, craft will handle like fixed wing aircraft, Lift engines will swivel with Pitch/Yaw)
