The photos uploaded by Imgur do not seem to be reflected on this web page, so I re-uploaded the photos by other means.
This was not possible with the SimplePlanes Mod Tools.
No, I don't mean impossible, I mean impractical, because you have to do it one part at a time.
Is it better to do this with external software such as Brender instead of Unity?@MOPCKOEDNISHE
At the moment, there are no plans to create a video work using this aircraft. However, if I do shoot some kind of video next, it will almost certainly appear.
@ACEPILOT109
This is because the fine details on the engine pylons, the underside of the main wings, and the roots of the flaps and slats have been thoroughly removed to reduce the number of parts.
By doing this, we were able to reduce the number of parts for the wing to about 260 parts per side.
I'm sorry, but I don't intend to improve on the problems you mention at the moment.
Why is this? Namely because of the processing speed of devices and mobile users. I have made some compromises on the detail and behavior of the planes, as I am crafting on the mobile version myself.
Can anyone download and fly a 5000 part jumbo jet smoothly? If you ask me, it's not.
If you have any complaints about the detail of the airplane, I hope you will consider this point.
@MassiveSimurgh
Although it is difficult to see in operation, the hinge and directional rudder are two-piece structures.
As for the painting of the tail not being linked to the rudder, this is due to the increase in the number of parts when the circular emblem is made to match the movement of the rudder, and also due to the processing speed of my device which is using the mobile version.
This is something that I would like to improve.
First of all, you should use the camera parts to take pictures. This is because the default viewpoint will always show the aircraft in the center, and the image will not look the same. However, with the camera parts, you can use pistons and detachers to move the viewpoint itself, which will bring a change to the screen.
As for the controls, there is no pilot school in SimplePlanes. In my case, I set the game mode to Slow when shooting, which allows for fine control of the aircraft and smooth movement of the plane.
If I could say anything else, airplane music videos and the appearance of airplanes in movies may be helpful as references for your video. Also, considering the short duration of the video, movie trailers and teasers are good to use as a reference.
One thing that can be said is that the camera work is generally monotonous.
Monotonous images can be effective if you choose to use them, but if they become the majority of your video, it becomes boring.
Monotonous camerawork in this case means that the video is shot entirely in Orbit camera mode. In other words, no matter what kind of airplane or what kind of scene, the airplane in the center of the screen makes the screen monotonous and boring.
In order to improve this situation, it is effective to interweave camera work such as taking images from the cockpit or a part of the plane instead of the whole plane, or taking images of the plane from the ground.
In addition to this, the operation of the aircraft is also noticeably poor.
In other words, there is a blurring of motion that can be seen at various points in the aircraft's movements, and the aircraft's behavior is not smooth. As a result, the video loses its realism and becomes somewhat cheap, as if it were a copy of a toy.
I'm sorry to be so harsh, but I think that if you improve the above two points, the camera work in the video and the aircraft operation, your work will be dramatically better.
@TheNightmareCompany
There are two ways to do this.
One is to set the size of the GUI smaller from the settings field.
The other is to bring up the development console and type "//maincamera>camera.setdepth 10". To restore the original settings, type "//maincamera>camera.setdepth 1".
And for the development console, please refer to this page.
@TheNightmareCompany
I apologize if you already know this, but I would like to say one thing about the air resistance of this plane. This is because it is an issue related to the processing speed in the game.
Due to the nature of the game, it is desirable to cut off the air resistance generated by the decorative parts. To do so, you can change the dragScale value, or rewrite calculateDrag to false.
In your work, for example, the parts around the windows are covered by setting the dragScale to 0. However, this is not a sufficient solution.
This is because the game system calculates the drag coefficient regardless of the dragScale value. Therefore, if you have a build with a large number of parts, even if the dragScale is 0, the dragScale calculation will place a heavy load on the PC and cause a slowdown in processing speed.
On the other hand, changing calculateDrag to false cuts off the aerodynamic drag calculation itself, which can significantly reduce the load on the PC.
For example, my shiphas more than 3000 parts, but it runs relatively smoothly because the calculation of air resistance itself is eliminated by changing calculateDrag to false, thus reducing the load on the PC.
I hope this comment will be of some help to you.
Thanks!
This is a very well done wing. I usually build mostly -100 and -200 classic jumbos, but I'd like to use them in the future when I paint -400s for some airlines.
I often paint classic jumbos, but the original aircraft I painted was made in 2017.The quality of the aircraft itself is very old.
So we would like to remake it this year to make it more realistic in appearance and operability.
In that case, I would like to use the nose of the 747 you made.
@KLM_747
To begin with, the engine and drive wheels are set separately for turbocharged and non-turbocharged. In this car, the rear wheels are used for turbocharging and the front wheels are used for non-turbocharging.
The turbo lag is reproduced by setting the turbo engine to operate at a certain speed and gas pedal position.
Each acceleration is reproduced by adjusting the Min and Max of the engine.

Therefore, I use specially made shooting equipment and default camera parts to shoot videos. This is how I explain it in the video.
@Kennneth
That true.
Perhaps, but it may have something to do with the fact that the rear suspension is a rigid axle.
Incidentally, this car was developed primarily for the rally stage of the tarmac.
In the meantime, I changed the rear suspension to McPherson style, which is the same as the front suspension. I think it has improved somewhat.
That's about two weeks.

Moon cakes are a common snack in Japan as well. You can find these popular snacks not only in Chinatown, but also at convenience stores.
But this is a very well-made piece of cake! Looks good.
Yes, it would be fine if he had changed my work.
That's exactly what I did, to the extent that you can't tell it's Haneda Airport.
But in his case, he didn't even have that.
@SnoWFLakE0s
Wouldn't it be unpleasant to see your work uploaded under a completely different name, even though you didn't alter it at all?
I built Haneda Airport, not anything else. So if your mod airport has been modified to a level where you don't know if it's Haneda Airport or not, or if it's created as a plug-in mod for Haneda Airport, there's no problem, but what if it's exactly the same as Haneda Airport, but uploaded as a different airport?
I didn't want to create an imaginary airport. But I don't like it when people claim it's another airport when it's Haneda Airport for all intents and purposes.
He was right under the rules. But I don't think there is any respect for the original work. Since I created the real Haneda Airport, I was irritated by his actions of calling himself a different airport even though it was unmodified. So it's a matter of morality.
Certainly, there's nothing wrong with his behavior under the rules.
This is a railroad map created by a friend of mine. It is not officially distributed due to his policy.
