@Randomplayer maybe a USB stick so you can install Windows, if you already had one that’s ok but putting windows on the stick will erase all the data on it.
@Randomplayer you probably should get 32 gigs of RAM just for future proofing and you can get a 4060 for very close to the price of the 3060 but otherwise it looks pretty good
@Randomplayer the case doesn't have USB-C, which I think you need. Also some parts are missing prices so its probably like $700 you can buy the GPU used to save some money, if you're paying MSRP for a GPU th. T old you're getting scammed. The thing about these parts lists is they tend to go out of date pretty quickly, I'd start saving, figure out an exact budget, then come back once you've saved that amount ready to buy. Also you can enable customization features and remove the watermark for about $10, just buy a key from gamers-outlet.net. I believe if its inactivated windows can also choose to randomly restart for no reason other than to convince you to activate it, so a cheap key is way better than spending like $200 on one from Microsoft.
Here's a much better list. Also get windows 11, like jamesplanes mentioned you can get it for cheap or free through only slightly sketchy methods. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nvgtcH
I've played SP with similar specs and gosh dang did it run smooth.
Edit: you'll want a case with USB-C if you're using a VR headset, that one does not have USB-C.
What's your budget? It just so happens I've spent a bunch of time creating parts lists for people. I've even built my own PC. Things that stick out with this list is that all of your parts are quite old, on this budget there's no reason to be using DDR4 RAM and an LGA 1151 motherboard. That's not to mention the 2 really old GPUs, one of them seems like it was a misclick though.
@Graingy they’re trying to see if am airplane can take off from a treadmill. It’s a 3 minute thingy instead of a 20 minute thingy so they’re cutting off the part where you actually find out, so it seems like just a couple of dudes doing stupid stuff for 2 minutes.
@Graingy I have the same feeling sometimes. Yeah I guess 6 months is an exaggeration, I guess it’s been that long since I’ve played the game with any sort of regularity.
@Graingy honestly I like the simplicity of the old version, apart from the fact that you can’t place things on stuff like crafting tables even if you crouch. Minecraft was arguably a complete game even back then, so them adding stuff doesn’t really improve it too much for me personally, all it does is convolute the gameplay loop in my eyes. Don’t get me wrong, modern versions are still good, but reducing it down to the simpler things is where it’s at for me. Honestly Java is the way to go if you have hardware that can handle it, you can choose the version you like best. the only real thing bedrock has going for it imo is all its multiplayer features.
@ToeTips wait the edit changes things.
I assumed you meant that the plane had its engines off, and was just sitting there on the conveyor belt. This is different. functionally speaking, if the engines are producing thrust, the plane will start moving in the opposite direction of the treadmill. The wheels will basically act as bearings, making it so the treadmill is in essence a frictionless surface. The plane is free to go in that direction relative to the ground, so if the belt is long enough it should take off.
@OrangeConnor2 that's true. Personally I've found a couple of effects that I've liked and tuned them a bit. on that forum post you linked didn't he say he was going to tell you the fix?
@OrangeConnor2 looks like ollielebanania has the fix to your issue. In response to the first question, I recommend starting with MXAO. From there, go through the list and find something you like. FakeHDR makes colors look a little better and adds bloom to light sources. Some of them just add CRT effects and stuff like that. in short, go crazy and try them all. If you find something that you kind of like try tweaking its settings. It's got a bit of a learning curve but a little experimentation will take you a long way.
Guns are not as common as most people say, they are legal but it's not like every household has one
Crime rate is not that insane, we're 52nd in the world although I think we're the worst "first-world" country. I will say most of the violent crimes do involve guns though. I will point out there aren't that many stabbings though (take that great brittian). Also this is very related to region, ain't nobody in Massachusetts with a Glock.
New York (and most big cities) have their redeeming factors, they can be quite cool but yea there are bad parts. That's very true even about the big(ish) cities I've been to in europe though.
yes. There is oil in certain parts of the country.
Yes, we use real measurements here. 5280 feet in a mile, baby.
No. That is extremely rare. Mostly because cost is prohibitive.
Yes, unfortunately.
Depends on region.
Yes, i know of a few military bases fairly close to me.
Again, very dependent on region.
Lots of political turmoil. Also Trump, who's running against him, survived an assassination attempt not too long ago.
Hope you like this video, I made it as sort of an exercise in creating something... Cinematic? Nostalgic? Not really sure. I haven't been playing this game much recently, but it's still one of my all-time favorites so i thought I would create something that kind of encapsulates how I feel when I play the game sometimes. I made all the music too, hope you like it. car

@Graingy I guess you could put it that way

@Graingy inspiration
@Graingy no basically they're trying to see if they can get the plane to move forward fast enough to get air over the wings.

It's annoying I've never hit 30K, course I haven't posted anything in like 6 months so that's probably a factor
@TheMouse memorial builds are fine as far as I can tell, but just making an empty post as a memorial or something is 100% spam
+2@Boeing727200F out of curiosity what game was that?

@ToeTips as far as I know, yes
@PrussianAirlines read the forum post
I use both equally, PC is better but mobile is more convenient.
that is very interesting considering that role got abolished. Congrats!

There's no airflow over the wings. Like hpgbproductions said, the plane might roll forward a little bit, but nowhere near fast enough to take off.
+2@OrangeConnor2 that's true. Personally I've found a couple of effects that I've liked and tuned them a bit. on that forum post you linked didn't he say he was going to tell you the fix?
