Huh, I was trying to replicate that forward facing wing/elevator on a different plane and couldn't get it to line up flush with the wing behind it for some reason, and if you download and then separate the wings on your designs you'll probably see what I'm talking about, it looks like a 3D + , it's probably just a bit of code that visually represented and "tangible" in the design studio. Hard to explain further.
SR, another great design. BTW, what is that amphibious mine looking attachment point you're using for the front elevator wings on this and the Falcon? I don't know anything about Simple Plane mods but I assume that's one of them.
SR, how did you get the rear wings to rotate as a whole? I took it apart but found no mechanism there that I could see. Handles beautifully, great design. You may have seen I built something off your recent f16, I hope I didn't cause offense there, I couldn't resist your fuel tank mostly.
Point taken, but can you really blame me for taking advantage of a never ending fuel tank? And I'd delete some of my other "copies" if I could. No need to be a whiny dick about it.
I like it! The thing is entirely predictable and foolproof. If I had to pick a plane to fly shitfaced and really had to get somewhere, this would be a safe and comfortable choice. Now I'm going to see how fast I can make it.
Reminds me of the movie Flight actually, with the wings bouncing around all.
@hypnotoad The level of detail and physics of the control surfaces is just beyond me. That said, the thing is too stable. You have any previous iterations that are a bit crazier? That's what I do. Check out the Fierce Sparrow
Thanks for the feedback. The yaw control inadvertently became a moot point for me, basically because I'm designing and playing on a keyboard and relying solely on WASD controls. Should just be a structural wing. As far as the wobbly pitch, it just evens out for me the faster it goes.

This is actually a challenge. If you're well versed in this game change whatever components you need to. Fix the flight characteristics and repost it.

HAH! will do.
I tried numerous times to crash it and the thing held together. Fantastic handling.
That bird has some special sauce. Nice design. I clearly need to learn how to build lighter.

Wow. I want to call this kind of design cheating, but it's stunningly fast. I saved it as "gone to plaid". Nice work.
I'm a little dubious about the physics here, but that thing is rad.
