@Ultra0 I haven’t a single problem with posts from newer users getting attention, in fact I find it to be great when newer users get attention on their posts, it increases their confidence and they feel better about posting, atleast that’s how I was when I was new.
I realize that not everything is about me, just because I’m a platinum user. Personally, I don’t believe I even deserve platinum, my builds are absolutely shitty.
Also, you aren’t fooling anyone by saying that you believe the creation deserves hundreds of upvotes, you know perfectly well that it probably only deserves like 10 upvotes, and you know perfectly well that most, if not all of the upvotes on that thing are just a contribution to give it more negative attention. My argument is that it shouldn’t be getting negative attention, ESPECIALLY in the form of upvotes.

Also, this isn’t exactly a complaint post about what you think it is, I’m not complaining about the creator or the creation itself as much as I’m just disappointed in the community, they’re not only disrespecting the person who made the build, but they’re disrespecting the platinum users who spend weeks on high quality creations, only to get 10 upvotes on their hard work. Think and say what you want about me and/or this forum post, but I really don’t care. It’s too much bs at this point.
I completely agree with this, but the problem I hate the most are the meme posts. Sure, they’re funny and I’ll admit, I upvote them. But statistically, they’re extremely low effort, and tend to score a lot of upvotes, which when you think about it, doesn’t make sense. For instance, I’ll see builds on SP that took quite some time to build, have a lot of parts, and have a lot of time and effort put into them, yet they only get like 10 upvotes, or atleast an amount of upvotes that isn’t proportional to the effort put into the creation. I’ve noticed this a lot with my posts too, to be perfectly honest. The same thing happens with meme posts, but the opposite: someone spends all of five minutes creating something from a meme, and it gets 50+ upvotes in less than a day. In fact, I know this from experience, as I posted a stupid iPhone 11 with way too many cameras on it, and I think it got 40 upvotes in the span of a few hours, whereas when I posted that rubber band glider I was working on for well over a month, I think it has less than 30 upvotes, all of which were achieved within the span of a week.

Idk, maybe I’m being too serious, maybe I’m being ludicrous. Maybe the only reliable way of scoring points on SimplePlanes is to just spam the website with low-effort meme creations that don’t have any effort put into them.
This is actually pretty cool, it has the same generic looks as the stock P-51, but it has a better geometric design and detail! Pretty cool, I’d like to see this concept with other stock aircraft someday!
This thing is fun to fly, I managed to not only destroy the Beast Fleet after having my roll control-surfaces destroyed, sending me into an intense auto-roll, but I also managed to land the plane without landing gear, (they were shot off too!) and without a scratch! Felt like I accomplished something great after that.
Does this make any sense for a SimplePlanes post? No.
Does it have any relevance with anything SP related? No.
Does it make Carbon Dioxide obtain the action of being released from my lungs in a vigorous manner in the form of what my fellow homosapiens relate to as "Laughter?"

You know how in the designer, if you click on a part's icon it gives you a quick description of the part? Well if you click on the cockpit block, it says that it's indestructible, so you'll be fine if you crash. Hmm...
Yeah, while the cockpit is indestructible, I don't think that alone is enough to stop the trillions of G-Forces that you may or may not receive, from killing you upon pressing this button.

Oh wow, I didn’t know they were allowed to do that, kinda reminds me of how my mother’s friend who is a Military Pilot, was actually allowed to fly from the airbase to the airport, with a re-fueler aircraft escort obviously. He actually landed at the airport, you know, the airport where usually passenger jets and small civilian aircraft land and take off at? Imagine being the ATC Director in that situation, and just seeing an F-18 with a refueler aircraft just casually landing at the airport like it’s just a normal day, lol.

Now imagine the reaction we'd receive from the manufacturers of the Sopwith Camel, if we showed them our modern day 5th Generation Fighters, like the F-35 or the F-22.
