@CanofBeans Thanks! I had a lot of fun with this design, which is thanks to you. Sorry the contest didn't get more attention! ;( I think a lot of people just got busy with their holiday plans these past weeks.
Haha, nice! I noticed a similar thing with my plane for the heavy-bomb challenge (https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/J1F4jl/Heavy-Bomb-Delivery). Maybe related?
Very nice folding mechanism. Wasn't sure how it would work at first glance. It was a little majestic. Bonus: fly to a high altitude, fold wings, then SWAN DIVE... or last minute unfold and save it :D
I thought this would fly well, but it exceeded expectations. Extremely well balanced, making it super responsive and stable. High top speed too. Good idea bringing the engines to the mid-section this way.
Nice. I like the way the propellers are clipped into the fuselage, giving a multi-rotor assembly look. Good use of orbital cameras. Too bad these improvised runway surfaces are so slippery, that causes some problems, esp for the 2nd plane. It looks like you need to reverse the turn-direction of the planes' front wheels. That would help some. Otherwise, making the runway wider or having some sort of track for the wheels to keep them straight might help. It might also be nice to be able to turn off the engines on the carrier so it doesn't crash while you're flying.
@Dstroyer101 XD Tried that early on, but its AA rounds destroyed me before I could impact it.
downvote button when?
@Gg1234 leave us alone, mobile peasant. The pretty planes do not concern you ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
stop that
this cockpit has a large forhead
literally why
@CanofBeans yep! hehe, new-year jokes.

Hey again. I finished! Sorry for missing the deadline ^^' https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/VSYIx5/T-wing-3-1
ohh, THAT'S what "cycle target mode" does. I thought I just had to keep pressing "next weapon". Thanks! ^^ @Skua
@CanofBeans I'll try that. Thanks ^^
nice name XD
you monster
@CanofBeans Ok. This isn't my entry yet, but here's a peek of what I've got going so far :) https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/L7r36l/ignore-T-wing-1-4
Thanks, @CanofBeans, but I'm far from finished :) I'm following my inspiration.
Update: re-mounting the wings to the top piece can stop the shaking.
I'm a little unclear what the definition of a T-wing is. I've got something in mind, but I'm not sure it qualifies. What defines a t-wing?
I suggest you stop pleading for points. That would be a good start.
@Ctracerx2 *weirdly and artfully shaped
Favoriting for later ^^
thanks for the tip :)
I support this. The forums need a swift kick in the junk. Maybe a way to mute certain users from your settings page would help too.
Wow, how many of these "I don't get enough attention!!!" posts are there each week? I've been away for a while but ** it's so whiny here lately.
Wow, that post title...
Nice idea ^_^
Nice. It's pretty stable in turns, and brakes EXCEEDINGLY WELL, LOL. Claims of amphibious capabilities were a little misleading though
PS: I like the way you clipped two engines into each other to make a really long engine.
@ThePlaneModifier did I say yaw? I meant pitch. sorry. Reducing the size of the pitch control surfaces seems to fix it.
ah. carry on then.

That funny little crease in the wings is because you attached a wing segment to the support beam instead of to the other wing segment.
But why's the rudder control backwards?
*1) activate motors for VTOL-controlled door
nobody likes a showoff
I like the pitch trim. Very smooth.
Doesn't really handle great
but what does activation group 5 do?!
strap wings to it and call it a plane ;P nice
You need a horizontal stabalizer to prevent the 180
Reminds me a lot of the model used in mario 64 :)
i want to believe
this is excessive
:o a little tipsy in the yaw axis. rudder needs to be reversed

Went with a behemoth glider-style approach B)
@BrainyDJ They look a little bit like balls made out of rubber bands ;P
@TheOwlAce maybe I'm throttling up to fast or something

Have to pull up hard to stop from nose-diving during takeoff, but works very well in all other aspects :)
