@TurtlesThatFly Thank you :). The armament was kind of a hassle, at first I wanted machine guns on the wing's leading edges but those kept hitting the props. I'm glad with how it turned out in the end tho.
@TheKraken3 Yeah you're right, there's not enough contrast as I suspected. Btw the custom surfaces was a good read, but it's really overkill for the style I'm going with.
@TheKraken3 Definitively helpful, although the sunset screenshots are usually too dark for my builds. What do you think of these screenshots of an unlisted version?
@TheKraken3 Thanks man. I often spend a lot of time on getting the right angle for the screenshots and somehow always end up unsatisfied with them lol.
@ProjectTank All the magic happens in funky trees, I suggest you play around with it for a bit and see what you can do! I might make a forum post explaining in further detail if there is enough demand.
@TheKraken3 You got it. The system works surprisingly well, I'm really glad with how it turned out. Everything down to the firing order is customizable. The formula for the number of extra parts needed is only (num cylinders + 1). Funky trees is brilliant.
@Trumanthetiger270 Yep, I'm actually planning on making a reupload fixing some more issues. The maximum angle of the elevator control surfaces is reduced to fix stall issues during sharp turns, but this also led to poor manoeuvrability. Thanks for the feedback!
@TheMachinist An algorithm could just swoop in and give every participant some upvotes based on the number of matches won and final rankings (finals, semi-finals, etc). That actually seems like one of the easier parts of the problem, unless I'm missing something.
@NightmareCorporation I'm sure it's not that bad. News flash: The fact that not everyone is open to japanese culture doesn't mean they actively hate it.
Gotta try this sometime..
@Adityo0502 Also, replicas will ALWAYS get more upvotes than fictional planes.

+1I love how the plane self-stabilizes. Is that a gyro at work or are you modeling the effects of dihedral with funky trees maybe?
@TurtlesThatFly Spot on.

Welcome to Simpleplanes. Looks are everything.

+1Insert femur breaker noise
So how do you climb it? Using a car, or maybe one of those walkers?

@senkanhitachi Use funky trees
Stackoverflow is generally where you find formula's like that with plenty of explanation.
Here's an example I stumbled upon: Link
I don't think there is. But you can try looking up a function for generating random numbers and implement it yourself.

Are conditional operators possible? As in x > y ? 1 : 0
@switdog08 Magic. Lol I completely missed that, now it's updated though. And thanks!

Was having auto-roll problems, but your technique solved it. Thanks for this amazing post.

Do you think it is possible to use that to mod an entire continent to scale?
Or would that be way too large
But....why?
+2@Brendorkus That would be automatic as well
