Since I tend to experiment without really knowing airplane mechanics, nothing I design is really new or innovative. I've been uploading what works for me, but my most successful upload is my 800 MPH max ground speed Runway Rocket, with ~80 downloads and 6 upvotes. That's way better than I thought anything I'd upload would pretty much ever get.
I picked up the game from the Steam Sale. I put up my first design, and people thought it was pretty good. It's been up about a day and has 6 upvotes with ~45 downloads.
@SeraphimVault I honestly have no idea how or why it does that. It used to have wheels, shocks, the whole nine yards, but it wouldn't go in a straight line. Removed them and it works. Go figure.

Very nice. I dropped the fuel down to 10% and managed to squeeze out 5 more MPH

@Thehtmguy I can make a thing that goes in a straight line on a flat surface. My plane design? Not so much...
