Thanks @XVIdarkLithium I figured that too. I had them connected but still had two other issues. One, when I hid them inside of the main body the air would still be lost, and secondly there are two rotators between the main body and engine so the intakes would move as if on an invisible pole if they were positioned anywhere away from the engine.
Got you on hangouts now. I thought it would be a good idea to keep uploading mobile versions especially while there is no update so that the community not on steam can still enjoy the builds. @TheLatentImage
Thanks @Rohan . Just tried the intake trick but couldn't get it working, feel free to try on this version. Note the intakes are working but are sticking right out the front of the aircraft so not ideal, would prefer to have them hidden. https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/7T1t4Q/A-T-50
Nice, the props on this plane are actually modded to be less than the minimum because it was already too powerful. I can image the control with just one prop working would be managable and quite fun, I'll try that later I think. @kikasshes
A few things in the workshop but had a lottle break recently with Christmas and all. I have a part build 747, Millennium Falcon and looking at making some boats again, maybe a remake of the Vietnam Hovercraft with new parts. @XVIindustries
It was made 11 months ago, there were only small propellers then, and they were only small. The props are visual only, they don't actually create lift. @JolanXBL
Yeah sure @Theflyingauzzie feel a vit weird bringing out several versions of the same plane with just colour updates but i'll do it for you and tag you when it's uploaded
Yeah @Kevpilot they look like fowler flaps. The only problem with flaps in this game right now is that the aerodynamics provides only lift to the flap and not the rest of the wing when extended, i'll have to experiment with a hidden mechanism infront of the CoM to create opposite lift to stop the plane pitching forward.
@FighterCrafter14 Yeah, that's the disadvantage of the fuselage block, but if the inside was open, the plane would need a lot more parts. The weight is mostly fuel. The real plane is about 130 to 140 thousand pounds so not far off what this plane weighs and most of it is fuel.
Perfect details.
@Thepos Sure, but if you mean to use the weapons available on the Steam version of the game, I have actually already uploaded a version.
I upvoted this but in the words of Spock, 'It would be oddly self-serving'.
Thank you. I forgot to assign the pylons but the weapons can still be activated by locking onto targets. @Stingray

It's fun with real weapons on. @JacobHardy64
Nice, I still play simplerockets occasionally. @AlphaOneIndustries

@TheLatentImage thanks mate
Thanks @Cedy117
@Rohan As for the rotators, it's the min and max, I set them the same, 1 and 1 or -1 and -1.

Cheers @Stingray
Thanks @Spikerya
No, I was going to but decided against. I was aiming for smooth looks and low parts. @AerostyleAviation
I'll consider it @Spikerya VTOLs are a lot more work and I want to be able to make more planes quicker.
He's back. It's soo beautiful, I can't wait to give it a spin on the computer.
Thanks @RedBeard66 that's really appreciated. I'll keep them coming, I have some of my building mojo back recently.
I didn't, honest...damn, how can I make it up? :) @Nickasaurus

The same old classics are always the best and there are always new building techniques that make them look better and better everytime. @Rohan
@Rohan That HAL Tejas is one uuugly plane, but a new T-50 would be cool.
It does if the gears malfunction! ;) @kikasshes
@Gelodicus
Simply stunning
Modded some part angles, and a little more power in the engine. Made it on Android. @ElGatoVolador
Oh, and also a 90% built A-10 that was made pre-update but gonna leave that a while until some of the other builds disappear. @XVIindustries

That's because it is an airplane. @JolanXBL
Followed
Gorgeous
Violent, but awesome!
Really cool
lol @goboygo1
I'd upvote it again if you make it yellow and write DHL on the side!
The camo master
Yeah sure @Theflyingauzzie feel a vit weird bringing out several versions of the same plane with just colour updates but i'll do it for you and tag you when it's uploaded
Cheers @KingDeadshot congrats to you too on platinum
Never seen this plane before, looks awesome, love the tail.
Amazing
Looks like a klingon spaceship

Absolutely stunning engine.
Thanks @SpiritusRaptor those fuselage sections were really difficult to make
Cheers mate @BritishNarwhal
Cheers @TheLatentImage
Sorry @drdoom222 it's not very compatible when it comes to alterations, it's heavily modified.
Beautiful tiger print camo, I will try it later on the mac.
