A few months after I finish the gear system in my WIP Fastazzo Compatta - people are making complex gear systems. At least after checking this masterpiece’s code I know mine is a little (or a lot) simpler. (Cos I’m an amateur)
Yes, I know upvotes don’t matter or something but I just want to share my build to other people and hope a lot of people see it. Internet points are I guess a bonus and let’s me know that people actually like my build.
Ok, I’ll refine it, add the other essential things I forgot about completely and I will post it.
There will also be a race tuned version,
A rally version
And a manual transmission version.
These versions will be released a little later.
Keep in mind, I’m not going to release it until the teasers get some attention. I don’t want to waste months of work for 2 upvotes, which has happened way more on this site than it should have.
If you want to steer at low speeds, maybe make the steering input a variable. In the variable expression have a ternary operator that increases the turning angle when below a certain speed. For example:
GS > 10 ? (Yaw * 10) : Yaw
@V do you reckon that below my logo you could add a label that says “Fastazzo motors” or just “Fastazzo” in the military font? That will make it look a little less like just a circle with lines in it.
Oh, I think I know why that guy thought the performance was bad. (He deleted all his comments if your confused) I built this on mobile. And on mobile, you can steer at different amounts because there is a joystick. But on pc, you can’t do that, so by pressing the buttons you will be steering to the max, which is where the grip seems to be non existent. So, unless your extremely good at driving, I recommend driving this on mobile.
@24DYA because I actually put effort in my other builds and they get like 2 upvotes and now I post this low effort meme build and now it’s my most popular post.
@jamesPLANESii what’s wrong with that is, does that mean I should stop putting effort in my builds and start posting low effort dumb meme builds, that actually get upvotes for some reason instead of my most worked on builds?
I have planes that I actually put effort in and take months to build and refine. My most worked on builds get no attention, my not so good builds get some attention.
Then I posted a missile with andrews face on it, and now it’s my most popular build.
@realSavageMan download this build and check the variable list and inputs of some of the switches and engines, and you might be able to figure it out

@Zaineman Correction: the fastest manned plane ever is the X-15,
Capable of 7 times the speed of sound. The fastest unmanned plane is the X-43, with a top speed of 10 times the speed of sound
Update just finished the tail section now I’m just procrastinating random stuff like rudder pedals
@Havonec ooooooohhh I thought you needed some complicated XML for it
@GorillaGuerrilla I need context
Maybe cos I’m late, but it won’t load when I press upload picture.
Uploaded it https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/a6fh74/Fastazzo-Compatta
@DatRoadTrainGuy19 idk
I downloaded this on an iPad without checking the parts count - HOW DID MY IPAD HANDLE IT WITH NO LAG???

Great except this meme is deader than my grandma 💀
@MAHADI I’m sorry to say that it was a joke and it went completely over your head.
Bruh it’s obviously Pontiac Aztek

oh and, last teaser
@Mostly yes exactly

First Teaser
Edit: ok I’ll upload it
@V The code I suggested will allow you to be able to steer at a good angle when GS is below 10, but when it is above 10 it will become 2 degrees.
Dog

@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat might just be me but the yoke roll is inverted

Nice, I see my company logo
If they did it would be great timing because I am making a stunt plane right now
I sometimes get a message in the variables screen saying “syntax error” what does this mean and how can I fix it?

@Xx24reminder if a car has a spoiler it doesn’t mean it’s for racing. Unless you live under a rock, you should see sedans with spoilers all the time.
Finished craft
@LotusCarsSub this guy doesn’t know what sarcasm is
@LotusCarsSub woah thanks
Good to know my months of work paid off

Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh
@AnthB like you can do any better
Finished craft
Really excited for the 4th tweak
This is my most popular build and I am so mad
Really cool looking plane. Also, first comment???????????????????
I’m going to die if this becomes my most popular build
Yep, no one saw this post

Everything about this is so good, performance, looks, it’s really cool.
Honest feedback: Maybe use variables to make cool complicated startup sequences in the cockpit?
Oh nvm just read your bio
@HornetRaptor Yeah, but maybe don’t just upload other people’s crafts without giving proper credit or reason…?
I would say it’s good, but I found that the craft isn’t yours thanks to auto credit…
This is weird, 521 upvotes and no comments, at least for me. I don’t see any comments. First comment maybe????

I have a build that has over 1000 downloads but only 6 upvotes and no comments
