Cessna 172 SkyHawk

Auto Credit Based on CatMasterLuke's Cessna 172 SkyHawk

The world’s best selling aircraft in the world and my most accurate replica (thats a very low benchmark but sshhh), The Cessna 172 Skyhawk, in SimplePlanes.

Screenshot-3.png

X-plane mobile’s Cessna 172 has been mostly referenced and Spillo’s Cessna 172 was used as my benchmark and this craft uses the dash compass from Spillo’s build, so credit to Spillo. The Cessna 172 is a four-seat, single engine, high wing general aviation aircraft, and the best selling plane in the world.

Screenshot-4.png

Includes basic autopilot and basic avionics, and features a full startup sequence - put the mixture to halfway and watch as the engine can barely start… fuel physics? Features a functioning AMPS system. Too many electrical gadgets doodads running at once and you have a VOLTS warning (yes, there is a full and sorta accurate warning system) popping up? Better turn on the alternator to get them amps up! Features a temperature simulation - if it is too cold, the pitot will freeze up and so will your airspeed reading, so turn on the pitot heat! This craft features… dynamic starter motor vibration? Most if not all of the switches in the cockpit are completely functional, except a lot of the buttons in the avionics I am NOT coding a fully functional avionics system. Avionics system in question is the Catmin C500 and C430. What on earth is Garmin?

Instructions are provided in game, along with descriptions for the in-cockpit switches & buttons, describing what they do in a somewhat educational way.

If I use the update XML thing and select the file for the updated version of this, will it replace it so I can regularly give uploaded planes updates? I’m not sure what it does but that’s my guess

I have this plane in SPVR, the best one I’ve flown by far. My dad was a pilot and trained on the 172, so I stuck him in my headset when he came over. He said it was just like flying the real thing!

Very nice! Cessna 172s are very nice planes. Glad you made a great replica with a vr cockpit as well! You should put the VR tag in your tags so the devs might come look at it for sp VR

9.9/10, the interior carpet and walls aren't falling off and there isn't a random loose screw that seems to magically spawn in the registration holder pocket.
    (This is amazing!)
