@Racrandall This is a modern interpretation of the P-38. This way I can take liberties with certain aspects of the design. My more faithful replica of the P-38 is linked below;

@Fishbowl1121 Changed some fuselage shapes slightly, added lights. Swapped out rear facing nosecones for fuselage pieces for a better look and easier mounting of lights. Mostly cosmetic changes.
@Sunnyskies It has a few issues, haven't figured out the pitch issues yet, Increasing the pitch rate increases the issue so I increase the roll rate to attempt to combat the issue. Not a perfect solution. It'll take some time to figure it out.

I've thought about how I'd integrate jet engines into the design. Seems like a good way to go about it.
@Fishbowl1121 Thank you, I really like the unpainted aluminum look with a touch of red highlights.

@NativeChief1492 Thank you, the P-38 was such a beautiful aircraft.
@Fishbowl1121 Agreed, I always loved the unpainted look. I wish it was possible to make a surface more chrome like.

@EdwardAbckman Good point, I figured I'd focus on flying dynamics and overall accuracy first though.
@CaptBill I wish I could make it a bit quicker to avoid fire. It's still a work in progress.
@CaptBill Thank you, I always loved the P-38 and wanted to do it justice.
@Cartera1 I'll swap that out and give it a try. Thanks.
