There seems to be these long gaps between tournaments, and I know there’s a piece of this community - including me - that would really appreciate more regularly scheduled tournaments. Is there a way we could have monthly/bimonthly tournaments held by the dev team, or release the tournament tool used and allow the community to schedule tournaments? I think it’s something we all would really appreciate. @AndrewGarrison

  • stonehenge is dumb 7.0 years ago

@Maximis Thanks man!! The trick is attaching those wings to the body.

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

Alright yeah that makes some sense. You probably know more about this than me lol but I’m pretty sure its a glitch. I’m just gonna agree to disagree @Zkillerwolfe

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

Thanks @Maximis yeah I’m not trying to be a tinfoil hat but yeah I just thought it seemed a little strange but if people want to say stuff back like that thats fine too I guess because they have freedom of speech. I’m glad you can see my side of the argument tho.

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

    Yep @Maximis

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

The wings are tiny vertical stabilizers which don’t make any difference in CoL or CoM - they had no fuel in them. The other fuselage blocks woild have no impact on aerodynamics as they are mostly nudged into the plane, with no fuel or dead weight in them so it’s not like it changes the position of the CoM or anything. You’re right, I’m making an assumption, but I think it’s a fairly more reasonable statement than you think I’m making. @Zkillerwolfe

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

When I say fuselage blocks with nothing in them, I mean ones not used for structure

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

Btw, I have confirmed KiNo’s airplane Dampfwespe is using a glitch to win: when I removed all the “useless parts”, for instance tiny wings or fuselage blocks with nothing in them, Dampfwespe consistently missed a ring. Not sure why this would happen but this is definite evidence of Dampfwespe using a glitch.

My plane is named “stonehenge is dum” because it is

  • Manta 7.0 years ago

Thanks. This was actually my first build on SP and yeah I think its one of my favorites because of how unique it is @Texasfam04

  • stonehenge is dumb 7.0 years ago

Yeah nudging and backwards facing propellers and lots of control surfaces are usually what good tournament planes use @Texasfam04

  • Indy Air Race 7.0 years ago

    Ah ok @EarthwormJim

Not a professional programmer, but I do it as a hobby and I believe the reason why there are AI crashes with microdrops in performance is because a lack of the use of multiplying Time.deltaTime in the variables which control the AI. @AndrewGarrison

  • stonehenge is dumb 7.1 years ago

    By XML nudging @TheTekkit101

  • stonehenge is dumb 7.1 years ago

Thanks! Yeah this was originally a speed plane but slowed it down in favor of reliability @Texasfam04

  • Indy Air Race 7.1 years ago

Thanks!! Hope it gets past at least 2 rounds in the tournament @Texasfam04

  • Indy Air Race 7.1 years ago

    44 secs at 6/7 reliability

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.1 years ago

Fixed it. Around 95 reliability and 3 seconds slower @Zkillerwolfe

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.1 years ago

How good is 1:28 average at a 73.3 percent completion rate on this course? @SuperSanic

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

    Wat happen

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

Mine is 2:07 at a 66% completion rate

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

    Idk. How fast? @thefish53

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

    You sure? @SuperSanic

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

It can’t get any worse lol @EarthwormJim

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

@SuperSanic I see you’re kind of the expert on nudged planes here, mine is fast and acrobatic but the AI hates it. Could you help me fix it? Here’s the link: http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/29p08d/Siko-919

  • Packers vs. Bears 7.2 years ago

@Awsomur I don’t think that’s because he thinks he should win every game, I think it’s because he takes football seriously and he hates to lose. But that doesn’t nessecarily mean he expects to win.

  • Packers vs. Bears 7.2 years ago

Excaaayooooose me, Pats fan here. All this talk about Deflategate - this happened several years ago, and it’s pretty obvious to me that Roger Goodell is just trying to unfairly level the playing field (first the Deflategate suspension with no proof and now Ezekiel Elliott suspended with no proof he did what people think he did). Second, in what way in any shape or form is Tom Brady cocky? I feel like he’s the opposite of that: just gets his job done and keeps going. All that being said, I like Aaron Rodgers and the Packers too because I like how they stuck to their small-town roots in Green Bay. Ok, rant over.

  • Manta 7.2 years ago

Thanks! My first build on SP so I’m glad you liked it. @MI

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

    I assume 2:44 isn’t very good? @SuperSanic

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

    Thanks. @SuperSanic

  • Typhoon Circuit 7.2 years ago

How do you fix “the shakes”? It’s really slowing my plane down.
