@Theflyingtrex given that they are still in the experimental range, i'll definitely sell them for a good price. Make me an offer if you like, at least what you working towards and we'll go from there.
@CRJ900Pilot Awesome! Definitely try to stay as simple as possible with any GA and Ultralight that I build to keep things easy to fly. As I continue through flight school, I'm finding a renewed interest in GA aircraft and love the opportunity to create in SP. Thanks for the support and feedback. :)
@AtlasSP thanks for the comment. I'll reduce the diameter of the blades as I continue editing the model. I always appreciate feedback and will definitely do whatever is necessary to get the best result possible with a given model. :)
@ACEPILOT109 thanks :). I have some plans and things I'd definitely like to try with this one. Still working towards a final. I appreciate the support :).
@Kimfri absolutely. I noticed that it has a ceiling of 18,000 to 20,000 at most to remain manageable. I've since reworked the wings a bit and that alone has definitely helped. I used a double stack 300 for thrust, which is good for low altitude. Depending upon how well the rework performs depends on how it'll be listed as final. Low altitude attack or not. :)
Love your builds! Great stability, looks, maneuverability, etc.. I'm really studying how to use fuselage blocks with wings to create custom wings. The problem is that when I turn the aircraft, the wing, in response to flex, "sticks" out of the fuselage block. Is it possible to ignore the wing parts altogether, and build one out of fuselage blocks alone? Anyway, keep the builds coming! :)
@ACEPILOT109 I hear you about the larger aircraff lol. It's good that they are much safer than ever before; however, there's a lot to be said for "flying" an aircraft manually. I think that there is certainly a lot to learn and it's good to learn IFR as well as VFR. If I go the commercial route, believe I'll be flying an ultralight two seater on my days off! :)
@ACEPILOT109 I think that would be great :). How far have you come along? I've been working on the fuselage of the carrier; trying to work out the storage options and how such will translate into a successful delivery. I hear you in regards to the flight characteristics of the carrier. It's tricky to not only get a good balance on the carrier, but keep it that way as planes depart. I had been considering using a sort of counterweight system that could be adjusted as each plane is released. Of course, there's a lot more to think about as well :). I would definitely like to work some more prototype "little planes" and then build a single plane, airborne system followed by two and so on. Would love to see what you've come up with.
@ACEPILOT109 Lol absolutely! The many attempts towards such a goal anyway :). I know that it was always the "little plane" that made such a thing difficult to bring into reality. I am certainly interested enough to see if it's possible in Simple Planes.
@ACEPILOT109 Thanks. I have only recently begun, however, I was lucky enough to do a discovery flight in a Cessna 172 which was certainly an upgrade to the 150 which is what most do. I have always had an absolute love of all things aerospace and specifically "fighter jets". I also recently took the entrant tests for APT; discovering as much as I can about the school and seeing if a shift in schools is a good thing or not. I know without a doubt that I want to become a fully licensed pilot; however, I am as of yet unsure of which avenue to pursue in aviation (commercial pilot, charter pilot, cargo, etc..). I truly appreciate your feedback and am absolutely always open to suggestions, pointers, critique, etc.. Also, in addition to the Cessna, I am hoping to fly some of the low wing aircraft as soon as I can. I think that waiting for my first solo is already the longest wait :D.
@Kimfri This one was actually pretty frustrating lol. I tried the wings in this configuration to balance stability with maneuverability. The challenge is what lead to the "flap like" control surfaces behind the wings; sort of an extra trim surface. Thanks for comment! :)
Honestly, I think it's just going to be something I deal with and learn to live with. I'm definitely using high physics settings on both android and PC as that's pretty much all I ever use anyway. I might try messing with some of the settings just to see. Thanks to everyone for the input. Help is always appreciated :).
@ThePilotDude lol. Actually, I have better control on the PC through the controller I'm using; however, even with the keyboard and mouse, it's the same.
I think that this plane is pretty cool. It is very quick and stable. I put it through some serious testing with acrobatic maneuvers including inverted flight with a pitch up 180° turn and experienced little to no disturbance. Keep up the good work!
@Strucker lol right! It was going to be a water plane at first but then I changed my mind. I've got a newer version already since this one gets crazy at higher speed. Wanted to build something different than a fighter jet. :)
Like it. Been working on a couple larger planes also. Can be tricky to get to fly right. This is a fast "big" plane and makes a good transport. Good work :)
@Strucker not at all. I use it to refuel planes upon landing, allowing a takeoff if I use my fuel before all my ordinance. The fenders where an attachment to the mod and I used them to see what they looked like on the original build. Forgot about them for the final. Literally nothing but the wheel covers is the mod. I will remove them later today, remove this model from the page and reupload the new one without any mods. I try not to use mods ever anyway, unless I make it obvious, so this was a silly mistake.
@Strucker don't know. I think it's just getting the word out and getting support. Thanks for your support and to all that are supporting my efforts. It's appreciated and I will definitely return the favor. I've seensome great work on your page as well.
@Chickenmaster1 It is a MOD I downloaded called "Upload with screenshots". Found it on the Steam workshop, and it allows you to press F12 in game and will save the pics to your computer. I think it works for Android also. When you share the plane, the last 3 pics taken will show up.
@Jim1the1Squid hey brother, I cannot find the logos you wanted to apply to the aircraft and ground based attack vehicles. Also, just a heads up, there are two new projects in development which will far out perform existing models. I'll give you first looks as they move closer to release

Awesome work! Good pics for the previews also :). Makes me want to go build some more fighters! Keep em coming
Thanks to all for the upvotes :) The support is greatly appreciated. @BogdanX @Bife @VeldVarIII @ssenmodnar @DPSAircraftManufacturer
Awesome. I still need to download and fly it, but it looks good! :) I'll comment again after a test flight. :)

@Spearhead thanks! I'll reduce the diameter a bit. Sounds like this is the primary issue so far. Thanks for the support and feedback. :)
@AtlasSP thanks for the comment. I'll reduce the diameter of the blades as I continue editing the model. I always appreciate feedback and will definitely do whatever is necessary to get the best result possible with a given model. :)
@ACEPILOT109 Awesome :) Will do. Thanks for the tip; definitely appreciated.
No words necessary. Amazing work :)

@Haxon awesome! Can't wait to see it :)
@ssenmodnar Thanks! :)

@ACEPILOT109 ill take a look for sure
Lol sorry y'all I'm a writer!

@CrashFighter05 lol. Right :). There is a lot to say and I was actually trying to keep it pretty basic and simple.
Very nice :)
Awesome! I’ll work an awesome weapons system into it and repost when I’m able. 😀@Chickenmaster1

Awesome:)
This is cool. :)
Good work!
Killer design. Love this plane!

@Strucker lol I forgot about it completely. I'll rework without. It's only those dumb fenders anyway. :)
@PositivePlanes Thanks :)

@Strucker thank you. Definitely appreciated.
@Jim1the1Squid thats what im thinking... I just watched a video about airborne carriers last night using a 747.
This is cool. Love the small size. Would be fun to develop an airborne aircraft carrier capable of launching this plane...

This is an awesome plane :) Incredibly fast at high altitudes and super stable. Good work!

Nice! Nuff said.
Love this design! Plus anything with a Starwars reference works for me :)
