    Finally after all the drama has more or less settled down I got to test your' new escort fighter out! She is VERY well balanced and I ADORE the new disruptive color scheme. She's a bit slower than your' Bf-133 at 35 angels and her fuel stores seem a bit less as well? Do you plan to add auxilliary tanks to her as well? (Which reminds me, I need to test that other Bf-133 out with the field mod.) I really like the new wing layout too - puts me in the mind of the Stuka modernized. A bit of trivia; The first air-to-air kill of the European branch of WW2 was made by a Stuka in September of '39.

    @MrSilverWolf Be careful, you're on the verge of becoming a perfectionist. Next thing you know you'll be drinking absynth and cutting off an ear! XD j/k Great job though on this bird!

  • Short Stirling 8.4 years ago

    @SimpleFlow Oooh I can't wait, is this with the glazed nose or turreted nose? ^_^

  • Short Stirling 8.4 years ago

    @SimpleFlow Oooh okay, still, you made a good choice though to make her wings a bit longer because I don't think SP's physics would allow it to take off even on a long landing strip if you had made it 1:1 scale. The Stirling's weakness was her short wingspan, being underpowered and having a relatively low service ceiling as a result. That's what happens when beaurocrats get involved in the specifics of an aircraft. Her short wingspan was the result of a prerequisite that the wingspan was to fit within a standard RAF hangar. <.<; lol 20 more bombers?! That's it, you've got a new follower!! XD

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @Himynameiswalrus Thanks very much for the upvote! :-D

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @MrSilverWolf Thank you very much!!

  • Short Stirling 8.4 years ago

    Very nice, I've been asking for one of these! :-D Your's is a tad overscale but that can't be helped due to the weight of parts and fuel. However if you hadn't have scaled her up I highly doubt it would have been able to take off from our runways with a 99.08' wingspan using our game mechanics! lol

  • Oh my god, just stop already 8.4 years ago

    If your' God would seek to silence the mourning of the wronged and those fearful of losing others in the aftermath, your' god must truly be a heartless one for you to invoke this god in this statement.

  • P-92 8.4 years ago

    No problem, if you ever need help again just say the word~

  • P-92 8.4 years ago

    @Shawniepie Not at all, five mins or so~

  • he 111 8.4 years ago

    @xenopath GREAT! I look forward to seeing it!! :-D

  • P-92 8.4 years ago

    @Shawniepie Would you like me to quickly add the fix and list it privately for you to repost, then I'll delete my copy?

  • P-92 8.4 years ago

    Not a bad little bird, maneuverable, decent HP, reasonably light weaponry - though the lack of disableCollisions coding in the wing gear causes them to rattle and shift around. That can sometimes cause explosions in the wings.

  • XE-06 8.4 years ago

    A very nice high performance fighter! That slight forward sweep to the wings I think gives it an advantage in maneuverability. In an age of jets this would be like a Skyraider 2.0! XD I had to adjust one of the prop engines slightly to pull it back from the other prop to prevent collisions when the prop blades changed pitch but not by much. At high altitude she's a 700 mph + fighter although the AI isn't sure how to fly it. lol Great work!

  • he 111 8.4 years ago

    This is a fair representation of an early model He-111E! Good job! I took her up for a test flight and enjoyed her characteristics. Any thoughts towards adding defensive armaments or a bombload?

  • My two cents on this matter. 8.4 years ago

    @laSoul This may be true for some, to be an internet personality, but after 20 years online you start to get a sense for understanding the other person behind the screen. Inconsistencies in their background/reputation/words are all red flags. The only time that Coop ever stepped out of his norm was when he scolded me for long reviews on his builds - suggesting I do that for newer players rather than he. While out of character to a degree it made perfect sense. I believe he was quite genuine.

  • What happened to Ccooper 8.4 years ago

    @joeysellers I agree 100%.

  • What happened to Ccooper 8.4 years ago

    @Squirrel Thus from what I've said, I'm sure you can see its hard for me to shrug off. He was a friend and possibly the first person I'd ever met that was even more of an aviation enthusiast than I was. He loved to build, and share and take requests from others for new projects. He always thanked people for upvoting or commenting and would return the favor by looking over your' designs, commenting or upvoting on your' projects. He loved this game and was a major participant in the community.

    I think some kind of repercussions should have been implemented upon those responsible and should be in the future. However in contemplation last night I did come to the realization that part of his popularity may have been the result of some taking advantage of his good nature, upvoting every one of his creations in the hopes of three upvotes from him daily. I only upvoted those which drew my attention, usually those of military orientation. I paid relatively little attention to his spree of sport planes, airliners and gliders - they just aren't my forte. Perhaps a system should be put into place where the number of upvotes is not limited by your' rank/points but perhaps instead you should limit upvotes of others creations to one design per user per day, regardless of points? For example, Coop would release three designs a day. Let's say someone upvoted all three and so he turned around and upvoted three of their designs. In the future make it so that you can only upvote ONE of someone's designs within a 24 hour period and visa versa.

  • What happened to Ccooper 8.4 years ago

    @Squirrel I'll just remember Foamy the Squirrel next time I see it and get you on the case. I didn't know who was around the day the libel started, so I talked back to them about Coop's virtues but they were so caught up in the frenzy I was scarcely noticed. I tried damage control with Coop, saying not to let it phase him and that far more of us support him than are critical of him. Before he left, he upvoted every one of my builds ... I was gone a day and when I returned I saw that, I saw three designs from him that would have been right down my alley of interest and discovered he was gone.

  • NEED HELP!!! 8.4 years ago

    @ErnstHeinkel16 The unusual proportions of the fuselage in conjunction with the small horizontal stabilizer w/oversized elevator I think is part of the problem, as that moves the center of lift forward and causes exagerated changes in pitch, even when balast is added to the forward portions of the craft, fuel in the nose, etc. The low wing loading is responsible for the center of lift to be so large at its position and that's due to the broad chord wings and small horizontal stab. This reminded me of a fictional design from a show I saw once upon a time. Another issue is the lack of landing gear at its present state of development. That frequently changes weight arrangements. Given that you wanted to keep the aesthetics of this bird though I'm not sure what I can and cannot change aside from shifting around fuel/balast, adding a 20 gallon tank into the nose which is another 177 Lb. Even when pulling the center of balance to mid-canopy she was still unstable and I can only guess it's the horizontal stab/elevator. I'm sorry I wasn't more help...

  • NEED HELP!!! 8.4 years ago

    @ErnstHeinkel16 I'm a sucker for twin booms, lemme give it a shot.

  • Hawk F-3D Fighter 8.4 years ago

    Would you like the guns modded to represent that performance, perhaps a tracer color change?

  • I can't anymore.... 8.4 years ago

    @humangrenade No, the mods do not want that. I posted two of them, one was deleted by the mods and I voluntarily deleted the other.

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @Pilotmario Roughly the same as the Skyraider, not bad at all and its been long proven that radials fare better against small arms damage than liquid cooled inline engines. I'll get back to you on the Pummeler, need to assess what we absolutely need. According to the GDP of the period, with alterations to account for war gains, continued trade between axis partners, and the recent purchase of design rights from a neutral power for a new primary regional defense fighter I need to figure out what Finland needs before the RP resumes.

  • I've noticed something... 8.4 years ago

    @CL4TRP Thanks for the input on the coop design I'd reposted, as it turns out the Mods agree, so I will refrain from reposting them in the future.

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce This bomber did teach me one thing, by the way, for twin endplate tails create a roundel that is 0.18 thick and nudge it towards the outside. Then you don't have to put a cap plate over the backside of it and thus you wind up 11 Lb to 22 Lb lighter per tail and with less drag~

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce Thanks! Hey, it's partly thanks to you letting me play around with your' designs, spicing them up with different paint schemes, markings, etc. So sincerely, thanks!

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc Well, the Mrs and I wanted to start our family young so we still remembered what it was like to be at their ages. My mother passed away in 2012 at 53 years of age, make sure they know you appreciate and love them while they're still with you.

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc I'm an old fart, 38. lol

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc Well it's nice to meet you! Minimum age here is 13 so this is sort of a joint account until September for my son and I. ^_^ By your' age I had only toyed with a computer with the processing power of the FIRST Nintendo game system. I would have to sit and type code for hours just for it to play some dumb song. XD It was from a brand called Tandy, I THINK they're part of Mac these days.

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc lol Yes, I have a daughter turning 19 next month and my son will be turning 13 on September 1st. XD

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc LOL Take a look at the two Anthony Avia designs on my account, they're my son's builds. His policy is high speed (modded engines we DL'd ages ago) and absolute OVERKILL (Many of his guns are so-called Bridgekillers.) lol

  • VL Ukkonen (Thunder) Strategic Bomber 8.4 years ago

    @MasterManufacturingCo lol Thanks very much, its taking getting used to seeing gold next to my name - I was silver for so long! lol

  • VL Lumimyrsky 8.4 years ago

    @MasterManufacturingCo Yep, she's got a bit of firepower, figured I needed it for busting tanks and chewing up supply lines. ^_^ Glad you like the color scheme too. The night fighter variant I decided to do in actual Luftwaffe paint colors, from a site I have. I viewed the source so the color swatches hex codes were visible. XD

  • P-67 ''Nutcracker'' 8.4 years ago

    How in the heck did you get the gatlings not to hit the prop blades? :-0

  • VL Pyörremyrsky 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc Anytime~

  • VL Pyörremyrsky 8.4 years ago

    @JetboyInc lol I noticed, THANK YOU! :-D

  • Ar.17-D-3 Night Hawk. 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce RLM is how Germany designated their aircraft, proper paint colors, and all sorts of stuff. It's Reich-Something-Ministry basically. Bf-109 went through several variations the most extreme were the Bf-109T - intended for Carrier service with folding wings and arrestor gear, the Bf-109Z which was a paper project that would have been like the P-82 Twin Mustang, the Me-209 and the paper project Me-109TL (Think a crossbreed between a Bf-109 and Me-262.) Variations received a new letter designation, subvariants received a number after the letter. Field modification kits would add a / followed by a coding indicating the kit used. lol

  • Operation - Destroy the Airport 8.4 years ago

    Ugh! Don't upvote this! D-: My most useless creation to date!! lol It used to be if you took the main cockpit off of something you could save a whole subassembly, including cockpit parts BUT now subassemblies have to be dragged to the icon! lol Thank you anyway, @JetboyInc

  • VL Pyörremyrsky 8.4 years ago

    Thank you for your' support, @JetboyInc!

  • Ar.17-D-3 Night Hawk. 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce By the way, did I ever mention to you that the RLM never issued the same number to more than one aircraft? ;-) For example, the Bucker Bu-133~ XD

  • Ar.17-D-3 Night Hawk. 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce Might be a good idea, I've contemplated using the night fighter version of my Finnish attack plane as an escort fighter too. lol

  • Bf-606-B-2 8.4 years ago

    XD

  • Ar.17-D-3 Night Hawk. 8.4 years ago

    I had fun test flying her while I was working on her armaments! Made a few strafing runs against Tiny even. lol XD

  • Bf-606-B-2 8.4 years ago

    @TheOwlAce lol! Sorry, figured you'd realized it! -goes to upload the refitted aircraft humming Darth's theme song-

  • Beast ATV 8.4 years ago

    Very very nice, love the attention to detail!

  • Bf-606-B-2 8.4 years ago

    That tail reminds me of Darth Vader's Tie-Fighter. XD

  • VL Lumimyrsky 8.4 years ago

    @MasterManufacturingCo Thanks a lot for taking a look at this attack aircraft and giving it your' seal of approval!! ^_^

  • VL Salamointi II (Lightning II) 8.4 years ago
