Not sure if this is the right place, but may i ask what the four "Slip" values are on resizable wheels? (SlipSidewaysExtremum, etc) My issue is that I am trying to make custom landing gear, but trying to make them behave exactly like the prebuilt landing gear.. I have built a test plane, and i have already pretty much perfected the custom rear gear, but the front one is being iffy... If i have a prebuilt landing gear on, (large retractable gear) whenever i throttle all the way up and then just slam on the brakes, the plane slows down without moving left or right at all.. but when i have the custom ones that I built on the plane, doing this process will cause the plane to veer left or right... Initially I thought it was traction, so i set the sideways and forward traction to 0 on the wheels, but then the brakes wouldnt work at all in the front, although it did prevent it from veering. Anyway, would any of these four values help me? And what exactly do they do? Thanks, Great mod by the way, and sorry for the huge wall of text xP
Thankyou @Simplemods, you've found the correct suspension settings but it's still not yet perfect.. the front landing gear is not retractable, and the plane should sit on flat ground with the nose pointing up, but i have an idea... Ill just copy these settings, put them on the original plane, adjust them slightly, then lower all the gear so it has a lower center of gravity. If/When I upload this plane, I'll be sure to give you credit in the description.
@Reaper9 I understand that but it is very easy to manipulate the gyroscope into being a means of turning/moving that works even better than the RCNs.. thank you for your input though, you have a good point.
@LiamW I've already done the gyroscope thing I'm just trying to make the levers look like they are responding to the controls.. but I have actually found a workaround for those of you interested... All you have to do is attach another pair of rotors onto the hinge rotators... That way you can "basically" have dual input
@MediciAviation243 & @plane918273645 thx for the upvotes guys lol first upvotes I got.. but yea if you have trouble building I suggest just using a picture to help.. look up something online and try to copy the style.. I got lucky on this one and the plane I was copying had quite similar specs to the one I built
cool. thx! ok sorry if im turning this into a forum thread but 1 last question ... does that allow you to make the blades on propellers longer than what the interface allows? cuz i want to build a plane with really large props.. the interface doesnt allow me to go past 150 inch.. so would xml help with that?
wow! quick response! loving this community already.
well, first of all, what powers the rotors? how do they respond to throttle control? is it a VTOL engine? hope you dont mind me copying your rotor design.. i promise i wont use it on crafts i upload (i have nothing good to upload anyway lol) but just for the sake of learning how it works and so i dont have to spend hours on building it.. Thx in advance :)
Plz help me ugh i cant make heli blades.. im new to simple planes and i love helicopters.. didnt expect it to be that hard .. I LOVE THIS HELICOPTER but i wish i knew how you did it...
@WNP78 thankyou very much, ive looked everywhere for documentation on those but couldnt find them.

@4404 thanks man!
@bjac0 thx m8 xD

man this thing is pretty sweet looking
@Tangyuge thanks ;D
@PlaneMan21 Cool I like construction vehicles lol I wish I had one of these irl...
@UssInvincible thanks :) yea I may have copied some of the suspension system but really that's about it.. the idea came from a buggy I've seen irl.

darn.. sucks to hear but thanks for breaking it to me..

thx @RadarJamJar, again, helping me with stuff i wouldve never learned in this game.
lol its me again .. you are the heli master.. how did you get the missiles to work like that if they are just fuselage parts?
oh, thx! duh, I'm new to the game
hi.. sorry if this is so late.. but how were the bacon missiles made? were they just missiles with tweaked textures from a mod?
ok thx.. u are a very helpful person :D
ok i didnt want to bother you anymore but i just cant figure out how you did the governer system on the rear tail rotor on this helicopter..
yep thx.. nvm yea ive done that before with other games.. sweet thx man will upvote once i get 30pts (lol i have none)

oh, thanks.. any other mod suggestions to help with building?
how do you scale it down? sorry if i ask so much..
Nvm lol ok just figured out that the rotors are propelled by VTOL nozzles.. will come back if i have another question... (likely to happen)
