Hey, I play that game too. The Barque came in many sizes with different numbers of masts, but I definitely like the clipper better anyways @TrislandianAlliance
I’m not much of an advanced builder, but I’ve tried before to some effect, so here’s what I’ve got. Do what people have already said: shape, maneuverability based on design, references. In my experience in making smaller details, I find it’s best to do major things first, then add smaller stuff. My most popular creation is a ship with some smaller detail, but nothing way too detailed. My only plane with fully functioning stick movement has basically no other detail besides that, but it’s enough. Basically, get the shape first, then work on smaller details one step at a time. If it looks good with a couple minor details, don’t over complicate. Sorry if this didn’t help at all.
Your engines are really heavy for such a short plane. Would suggest making it a bit longer and adding some dead weight to the nose. That should balance out the front at least. Maybe just scale it up a bit. That should give you more freedom to edit the weight accordingly. Nice build btw!
From what I’m seeing, I think you should probaly remove one of the tail rotors. It seems like your main rotor is also a little too powerful. My suggestion would be to get rid of the left side tail rotor, increase the right tail rotors power, and decrease the main engines power. Nice build btw!
Nice! I like the design and the gun is really fun to shoot. If you want it to control a bit easier, I would make the control surfaces on the horizontal stabilizers a bit smaller. That should keep it from stalling when you pitch up really hard. Nice work though!
Yeah, once I got it done I just kinda gave up on slot of detail, but I could redo it a bit and make it lighter. I was making up as I went, and I admit, the shape of it is a little improvised. The non functional parts were meant as decoration (like the car engines) but it could definitely be improved greatly. Anything you want to do to reprise or modify it, be my guest, I figure I’ll do the same eventually. Thanks for the feedback! @Tw1st3dPs7ch0
Oh, nice! @DuckMint
Aight @JamesBleriot
Responding to this might be a mistake @BaconRoll
Fair enough @CrashFighter05
Oh, sweet. Sounds fun @TheFantasticTyphoon
My first plane using fuselage was a ju-88, and seeing this makes me feel insignificant.

@TheFantasticTyphoon always the better choice. I mean I don’t know why, I just like it more
This is not what I expected to chat to turn into, but I’m not complaining @Thelegitpilot13 @randomusername

+1The early 1800s were a weird time for the US @Nerfenthusiast
Thanks! @Shanethepain1
I’m not too good with cars but I think I see the issue
The hinges are definitely the issue. Try getting rid of the hinges that let it rotate to the side, but keep the vertical hinges. That could help
+1You can edit the strength of the shocks to make them more solid. That should balance it

+1Thank you! @FastDan
Thanks! @Bendabomb
Sure! No problem. Thanks for the upvote! @BananaBlob
They could have done some kind of update then I guess. I’m not sure. Sorry you don’t get to experience it @Skyler717
First person specifically when shooting the guns is where it’s really loud. 3rd person pov is pretty quiet @Skyler717
Thank you! @SodiumChloride
+1Thanks! @ Spikerya

+1You know, I never realized that, but now that I’ve heard it it’s gonna be stuck in my head @Minecraftpoweer
Thanks! @FLATTEREARTH

+1Noice, keep up the good work gents

Neat
Nice! I love the design. It’s smooth, not too fast or slow, it’s great! Keep up the good work!
Sweet, I’ll check it out @XjayIndustrys
Ok, thanks! @ThePrototype
Thanks here too! @Tw1st3dPs7ch0

Ok, thanks so much! @Simplemike
Very helpful, thanks! @Chancey21
+1Ok, thanks! @randomusername
+1Thanks! @Chancey21
Nice job! The only issue I see is the plane is a little front heavy on the ground. Maybe a longer fuselage would help, but great job!
Nice! I love the design
