so I have a thing I figured out that is sorta broken. No matter what angle you have a wing oriented in the designer, it will always produce lift, However, if this wing is placed on the end of a rotator, you can adjust the angle of attack that way, and use that to create downforce. put one on all four corners and you should have a nicely planted car.
what exactly needs to be fixed? I looked at this for way too long and couldn't quite nail down your issue. just a bit of detail as to what needs a fix and I gotchu.
i was wondering what your main inspiration was for this build i was cleaning up some bits, and making it look a bit better and function a little better, and i had a picture of an indycar out, and was making some changes, but it looks more like an F1 car.
@Pulkit
Step1: stiff suspension. .
Step2: Wing pieces on rotators to provide downforce. make sure they rotate the right way. .
Step3: XML. there is friction values on wheels, turn them up, but no too high, otherwise, kaboom.
So, a word of advice.
Little minimalistic desings that make a complex plane simple are sooooo awesome. And this one is great. But try stretching this thing out a bit. The blackbird is REAAAALLLY long,
do you mind if I do some work on it myself? I was thinking of some new bodywork and some small tweaks here and there. I would then upload it, but it drives really well!
one thing though, try making a suspension system, it changes the whole car. if you go download mine, it drives well, has downforce, and works decently. heres the link:

go try it out.
@MrHeadshot2693 so I was looking back at old posts and i saw your comment, "try to make the slowest possible airplane" and I accepted, I loved the idea, but I forgot.
now I remembered. it is almost finished. and it is a masterpiece. sub 100 mph flight, lift fans, and a giant pain in my a**.
i've done stuff like this before, but im better at the downforce making. try putting structural wings on rotators so they angle down. if you beef up the suspension, you can do crazy stuff, it works really well
i read about these things, they are so cool, they use the ground effect to fly massive amounts of weight at hight speeds. they can carry like 2 times their weight and do it quite well
LEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Dude I love how we've been pavlov dogged into just seeing this everywhere.

Do you think shaders like that would run with a ryzen 2600 and 1660 super?
That's just mind blowing how good it looks.

@F4Mustang what physics/ device are you using, I've pushed it to 270 around the gold prix's long ass corner on medium physics
So, a word of advice.

it do indeed be tall
Quick question, can I do scaling for fuelselage for details and such? Like 0 mass/drag lines or symbols that are purely for aesthetic purposes.
Double wishbone?
XML?
Mm yes I have an idea

this is actually really creative. i made a formula 1 car, but it looks really awful.
@Brendorkus ok, different question, how fast can you make a cleaver go, it would be crazy to get a small cleaver going like 2000 mph.
how Fast can a cleaver go?

@Aleph I see that you devote all your time to cars
@Aleph did you upload it?

I despise this post

rewind time
i shall download this and make it cool looking, maybe even some performance upgrades
@marcox43 none really, just no jet engines and modded parts.
i think moto moto likes you
And turned it shall be, I got ya. You should let your cousin see the final product
can we get Jeremy Clarkson on this to roll it?
+2its a brilliant little thing, lots of fun!
@Captbadass the ready to rock?
that show is the best.
@MrHeadshot2693 challenge accepted. I'll use props for that
@うりゃああ @MrHeadshot2693 do you guys want another one
