Rise is vertical and run is horizontal (the number is in blocks) you can also rotate them to make it go divergent directions. Good luck with what your building,
I just put out a jet that is good for carrying heady bombs and missiles it's called The Beast. I will upload it again later today with guns and missiles on it

@Chevygmoney Speed is a big factor in maneuverability try using a different speed. Too low it won't gain lift and turns will be slow. Too fast turns will be quick, sharp, and may cause damage. The point is find a happy medium on speed.
@BaconAircrafts A work around to thicker wings is putting fuselage over them an example of this is my Lockheed design labeled Jet 2 Lockheed in my planes. You are essentially putting both in the same spot. Hope this helps.
