@Axartar Sounds like it means that Roblox will need permission from parents in order to do the facial age check ("disclosures of a child's information to train or otherwise develop artificial intelligence technologies ... would require separate, verifiable parental consent"). This may cause them to change how they do the age check, but that's up to them to figure out.
On June 23, 2025, a Final Rule from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) updating the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) went into effect, with implications for artificial intelligence (AI). The FTC’s commentary on the Rule states that disclosures of a child’s personal information to train or otherwise develop artificial intelligence technologies are not integral to a website or online service and would require separate, verifiable parental consent. The Rule also expands the definition of “personal information” to include biometric identifiers like voiceprints and facial templates, prohibits the indefinite retention of children’s data, and mandates that operators establish and maintain a written data retention policy addressing personal information collected from children.
With certain exceptions, regulated entities have until April 22, 2026, to comply.
Try Throttle=1 ? 0 : Throttle. This will make the engine go to 0% (open completely) when Throttle is at maximum, but will use whatever Throttle is set to if Throttle is not at maximum.
(Because it's displayed as a percentage, the Throttle value goes between 0 and 1, not 0 and 100.)
@nwa If you will not respect my terms of use on comments, I see no reason to respect your terms of use on builds. Please respect my brand according to the terms I have defined below. Continued disrespect will not be tolerated and will be considered intentional.
@nwa Cool, in that case I decree that you have to do ten pushups, a headstand, and award me five upvotes for every comment you have ever made mentioning me, effective immediately and extending retroactively to the date your account was created. This is vital for my brand image.

also I don't mean to be That Guy, but having this strong of an opinion against Discord when your last three forum posts were acting like the Roblox chat restriction was literally the end of the world is a funny contrast.
The rail collider (both in SP1 map mods and in SP2) is pretty much just a rectangle, one for each rail. As long as your build has a means of staying between the two rectangles, it's technically compatible with the rails. This is usually accomplished with wheels, shrunk down so that they're hidden behind the "real" wheels that sit on top of the rails and actually provide power (in some cases; other times the small guide wheels are the ones that are actually driven).
The engine input max is probably there to cap the acceleration so the train doesn't launch like a Top Fuel dragster.
I am... curious to see what (if anything) it will actually pan out to be. The concept art makes it look less like a traditional battleship and more like a scaled-up missile cruiser, with some extra armament here and there. I mean... sure, I guess? The railgun would be neat, I suppose, though the Navy's program was cancelled in 2021 for a variety of reasons. Calling it a "battleship" feels wrong, but naval parlance is so subjective at this point (see: "frigate") that it doesn't really matter all that much in the end.
Also of note is that the lead ship of the class will not be named after the class. Maybe they're leaving the door open for redesignating it as the Defiant-class?
@Graingy fun fact the Kicking Fish is actually perfectly* compatible with all the other paint slots. The only reason it isn't on the Green Slime one by default is because I wanted to do fun patterns and edit the material finishes.
*minus the decals, because those aren't part of the paint palette. They stay green.
For more complicated crafts, though (especially stuff that uses multiple paint patterns for the fuselage), it makes way more sense to group the paint slots according to what they do on the build. That's a part of the guidelines we were given to follow.
Being able to easily swap to the old palettes is cool, sure, but it tends to make the build's custom palette a lot more confusing because paint colors end up scattered around it instead of grouped together logically, which ends up making it harder to modify them later.
(As for knowing what does what, that's why the slots have names now!)
@Graingy That's quite helpful, thank you.
I can't guarantee that the stock crafts will all have their paintwork redone to fit this (since there's, like, 20+ people involved with creating them and everyone has their own ways of doing things), but I'll pass this along.
@Graingy I am well aware of how the system works in general. However, lacking reference information to work with, it is difficult to convert an existing paint palette. Grabbing legacy SP1 parts at random from the menu is not a very practical form of reference.
The last ten slots, for instance. Those are the same color on every default palette, yet are not the default for any parts pulled from the menu. Is there a standard for what those are "supposed" to be?
Also, what would (or "should") happen if a craft were to theoretically have, say, two different colors for its tires?
Do you have a list of what is "supposed" to correspond to each of the 20 paint slots? Also, keep in mind that your personal set of standards may not be the only one in use.
@BaconEggs to be fair the aeon lore is probably the deepest out of any of the stock crafts
it's been through at least three designs and like four or five names if I recall correctly
@AndrewGarrison Would it be possible for the radial engine's Rows slider to go up to 4 instead of 3? The Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major was a fairly widely used four-row radial engine, and it would be nice to be able to easily replicate that without having to dive into the XML. I can understand limiting it for game performance purposes, but in my opinion a four-row engine should be allowed without manually bypassing the limit.
This is cool!
