Thanks man, that really means a lot to me! You guys are all so awesome, I knew this would be a cool community. I will to my best to keep building and make a positive contribution :) @Ajforever51
Ok thanks, I’ll get right on that! I just walked in the door. Thanks for the spotlight! I just made a profile but I’ve been playing for several weeks now, just soaking up everyone’s amazing creations and you’re kind of a celebrity/hero to me. So that made me feel good, thank you :) Also btw, it’s a Cessnot because it looks like a Cessna but it’s Not cause I can’t call it a replica so I made up a new brand haha. Maybe the joke just looks like a mistake... @jamesPLANESii
Oh, no problem at all! Your info helped a lot! I finished the plane and it’s posted, maybe you can tell me how I did with my first attempt at with overload :) @Ajforever51
Thanks man :) And wow, thanks for the spotlight! Is overload a mod for pc version? Or is it something I can get on my iPhone? Unfortunately, my iPhone is the best machine I have for SP (although it’s pretty good, I shouldn’t complain). Thank you for the info!@Ajforever51
Ok, you’re right, we could go on about this forever and I don’t want to keep bugging y’all. You’ve given me a lot of good info to consider, thank you! I’ll keep researching and see if I can figure out what’s best for me. @DerekSP
But I want to spend money! Haha. Jk. But I was hoping for a bigger screen and to be able to run those enormous high part count aircraft... :/ I am really appreciating your advice though, thank you. I don’t mean to be argumentative. @Tully2001
Dang. Yeah I guess I’m spoiled. Still, I’m having a rough go of things in my life right now, and I’ve given myself permission to treat myself a little... @InternationalAircraftCompany
I can’t figure it out... I don’t see a model name/number anywhere on it... it’s a 2-in1, 13”, and it was the cheapest one, like $250 or something. 4gb ram 500gb hd and I don’t know what processor :/ are you thinking I could upgrade ram/ssd to make it run better? Or something else? Can you put a graphics card in one of these? @DerekSP
Okay. My hope was that I could use a chromebook because it doesn’t have such a cumbrous OS. My little Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 gets bogged down trying to run SP and I think it’s cause there’s a mess of other things that windows is running in the background. So frustrating. @DerekSP suggested a Raspberry Pi or Asus TinkerBoard running Android. What do you think of that? Also, I don’t know if I have the know-how to set that kind of thing up. Thank you for your help! @Tully2001
I’m not very computer savvy, and most of the processes are things I don’t know about. If I start ending processes and something gets messed up, can I just restart the comp? Or is it dangerous to end processes you don’t understand? @CruzerBlade
Oh, btw, my budget is $300. And yes, I want a mobile machine. I have a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 (I don’t know which one but it’s the cheapest 13”). It runs SP but very laggy. What if I upgrade ram and/or ssd, will that do it?? @DerekSP
Okay. So if I get a chromebook with googleplay, then I would be able to get the SP mobile version, is that right? What does it take to install Android on a chromebook (please forgive my ignorance)? I want the touchscreen because I really like the touchscreen controls for flying.... thank you for your help! You guys are awesome! @DerekSP
So, you can run the pc version on a chromebook? I hear the chromebooks are faster cause they don’t run a huge OS like windows, is that right? Also, isn’t the chrome OS based on Linux? And SP runs faster on Linux, right? Thanks for your help! @randomusername
You’re right, it does run pretty well on my phone. But don’t I need the pc version to do mods and xml stuff (I don’t know how to do that stuff yet, but still). Plus I really like the touchscreen controls... what about a chromebook? Thanks for your help! @Tully2001
Hey, can someone tell me how I can change he description on this plane? I need to give credit to Cedy117 and also describe the few tweaks I did... @BogdanX @DerekSP
Huh. Well that’s what I have, a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1. But it’s just unplayable how laggy it is... I’ve got the quality settings all at low/off, and then I can fly the Bush plane (or something equally simple) with no weapons or ai’s, and as long as I’m not moving through terrain too fast... maybe my dell needs to be wiped? Reload windows? I haven’t used it much at all, I feel like it’s always sucked... but my computer abilities are pretty low so idk. @CruzerBlade
Thank you! From what I’ve seen, it looks like you guys have a really great community. I’ll do my best to make a positive contribution to it. I know I have a lot to learn, but I’ll keep practicing! Also, I’m embarrassed to ask this, but... can you tell me where the rules are posted? I haven’t found them yet durrr... @Caveman999
Hmmm, okay. So I have a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 that I bought 8 or 9 months ago for like $250. It will sort of run smooth if I’m flying the Bush plane with the quality preset all on low. Are you saying there’s a different way to set it where it’ll run better?@RailfanEthan
Addendum: what about Chromebooks? I hear they are generally faster since they don’t run windows, but can you even play SimplePlanes on a chromebook? And can you do mods and whatever else that you can do on pc (I’m still learning)?
Thanks man, that really means a lot to me! You guys are all so awesome, I knew this would be a cool community. I will to my best to keep building and make a positive contribution :) @Ajforever51
It looks like a Cessna but it’s Not so it’s a Cessnot haha. @tsampoy

Nvm I got Overload working on my dell! The work begins... thanks for the info!!! @Ajforever51
I’m not very computer savvy haha... @Ajforever51
Ok, bummer haha. But hey, in case I can get it for pc, are those mods hard to install or run or anything? @Ajforever51
Haha that’s cool man thank you! @Deadly8Nightshade

That reminds me; do you have recco’s on entry level joysticks? @DemonSniper8 @DerekSP
I wouldn’t say I’m “good” with them haha. But I’m most comfortable with them. @DerekSP
I’m not very computer savvy, and most of the processes are things I don’t know about. If I start ending processes and something gets messed up, can I just restart the comp? Or is it dangerous to end processes you don’t understand? @CruzerBlade

Haha. Well yeah, my Dell will run the game, but I’d like to do better than 0.5fps... honestly I don’t know how you can stand that. @BACconcordepilot
Huh. Well that’s what I have, a Dell Inspiron 2-in-1. But it’s just unplayable how laggy it is... Ugh. Nvm. I found the rules. @Caveman999
Andrew is the game’s creator, correct? Where can I learn more about his dev comp? @Caveman999
