@RAAFAce2 I want to know this too. I've looked in the .XML files for my planes as well as in designerParts thinking I would find something extra tucked away. I'd very much like to change the writing shown on my gauge faces.
@PlaneFlightX and @fpvrick7 Thanks both! SnakeWorld, I did see your comment and am about to test it in my twin prop. By the way, great work both of you. I've been a player since the first android release of SR!
@PlaneFlightX I'm curious how you got 'VariableOutput' to work in the dropdown of part attributes of Overload; In your SWL-10, your APU and engines all output a 'thrust' and 'RPM' variables. I can't get mine to do that, even adding it under <variables> in the .xml file
@PlaneFlightX Gotcha, that's funny because when I didn't get a reply that's exactly what I started doing. My original comment was something to the effect of, asking what you were calling 'variable output' and 'outputValue', since the only variable-type name I could think of was the 'input' ID field. I watched your videos, and saw where you created the outputValue, but it still isn't working thus far. I'll keep tinkering.
UPDATE
I created 3 variables, using @fpvrick7 method; Display (Display + NextDisplay), NextDisplay (0), CurrentDisplay (repeat(Display+100,5), adapted to use <size>.
I got it to work only once, but it seems that the variable count keeps growing instead of resetting/ looping back around
@fpvrick7 I had just earlier yesterday posted in the forum on how to cycle through multiple "screens" on the MDU. I had suspected variable sets for each, and you confirmed it with this. Working to make the brightness buttons alter the emission level of the text, but that's proving buggish
@fpvrick7 I love the cockpit! I spend 90% of my time playing, upgrading the interiors to planes I like. Yours is very functional, do you mind if I take and continue your work? Credit always where it's due
@SnoWFLakE0s Thanks! Yours and PlaneFlightX's YouTube tutorials have helped a lot, but I'm about 2 years behind on learning FT, so my impatience begs me to ask sometimes :)
Is there a way to change the color of text-code dependent on the status of an input? Example, a ? b : c where a=ButtonPushedInput, b and c are color codes that make the text appear in a high-contrast color on the MFD

Extensive is what I had figured on, I don't mind... maybe. I'm building a digital one as I type
@bacssss Did you ever figure out how to change the gauge writing?
@PlaneFlightX Also, how did you change the text shown in gauges, specifically the battery meters in the SWL-120?

@PlaneFlightX How do I set the button's output value? I don't know how to store variables
