@XM803ENJOYER46
The deepest irony of Kirk’s legacy came in the manner of his death. In 2023, he declared that “it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights,” framing gun deaths as a tragic but acceptable price for liberty (Wikipedia). Two years later, he was killed by gunfire at one of his own public events. His own words came back in the most devastating way, embodying the very cost he had justified. For critics, this was not just irony but a brutal illustration of how the normalization of preventable violence eventually consumes even its defenders. For supporters, his death was framed as tragic but consistent with the risks of freedom. Yet the broader truth remains: when a society accepts death as the “price” of a constitutional right, it abandons any serious effort to build policies that protect life alongside liberty. Kirk’s fate exposed the hollowness of his argument. He did not just preach the acceptance of gun deaths as a cost of freedom—he became that cost.
There is no such thing as "God-given rights.' Btw
@XM803ENJOYER46 Actually, no hatred! I just love irony, karma and comeuppance to hypocrites of all types. Especially to those in power who think that they are always right. Those who pretend that they are "Perfect." The A%%hole who, showing off, peels out of the showroom parking lot in his brand new $1M Lambo and immediately crashes it. The billionaire insurance CEO, out on the town, getting shot by someone whom he had F%%%ed over.
Oh, sure. "Thoughts and prayers to the family/victims/survivors." But NO HELP!
We, as Americans, have the power to pass legislation to help us all to a better future, but the rich who have their money invested in "the old ways" (oil, coal, war, etc.) have had over 100 years to mold and shape our needs and wants through advertising. Now that we all have the internet the advertising is always there, telling us what THEY want to hear. THEY are NOT poor people, THEY are NOT stupid people. THEY DO have an agenda. Everybody to THEM are pieces that they know how to manipulate to do their whims and once accomplished, people are disposable commodities to THEM, like toilet paper to us.
Okay!?, I went off on a tangent down the rabbit hole when I should have taken a left at Albuquerque!
Anyways, I think my point is, that if you take too long to write a post and get interrupted multiple times during the writing of said post, that you might lose track of what you actually wanted to say.
Hi, just wanted to let you know that there is no hard feelings about our conversation on the 10th. I realize that graingy laid into you a bit, and surprisingly for once I agreed with something that he said. (He's usually an ass.). Oh, speaking of ass.
@Graingy I see where y'all changed the variable of the cannon to add name.
I was wondering if the same thing is available on wing gun and mini-gun.
to get ammo count.
@Graingy @blt change the id # to make "WeaponNameOfYourChoosing"?
If not, which variable do I change to make "WeaponNameOfYourChoosing"
I see that name sticks in the cannon. Have you been able to change a mini-gun name?
I see where you are going.....
Also, Button labels are available to put code in.
<rotate>less HUDs
