Hit undo, and then hit redo. You should get the vehicle / plane without the mod.
Smoke Trails is not necessary to the operation of the vehicle.

The one mod in question is the pilot. It is not integral to the operation of the vehicle also it is over the parts limit and Etc. I am not entering this. I was just showing an example of a hover vehicle.
With the online multiplayer mod that we have... Your problem might be with the server itself, which server are you using? We know of two different servers that runs simpleplanes. You might be able to host a local server for you and a couple of friends if you can communicate the server that you will be on.
