@LotusEngineering For now, an open cockpit. I'm thinking about supplying a required cockpit assembly with a "driver" who needs the survive impacts and incidents, requiring a sturdy, well designed roll structure.
@LotusEngineering You might want to wait on designing a car before the full technical regulations are completed. i.e. the only permitted tires will be pre-made by me, with three different tire sets released as a build.
@LotusEngineering I think you misunderstand me. I don't know how else to define wing decks right now, so I'll just say that the AndyCar Mk.VI has three.
@LotusEngineering Not yet . im doing the sleepysleeps rn so i cant really work on the document, but i have all day tomorrow. as for other teams, make sure you have some previous experience with car design in SP.
@LotusEngineering @marcox43 Y'all might wanna wait until i finish the specs (just the first part, should finish it by tomorrow night or tuesday), and the first race will be mid-june, so no rush
@LotusEngineering Ah. I haven't finished typing that up yet. It means that the front wing has a main part on the bottom, and then progressively smaller wings above each other, separated by a small gap.
@AircroftDesigin @marcox43 Or something like Sebring. I was also thinking of an actual oval track, as well, because the Oval Office is way too small and banked.
@Dynamicneedle yeah but its really small compared to something like the Brickyard Speedway, its only .1 miles from the start to the first turn, plus the severe bank makes the turns extremely difficult to maintain
@PlaneFlightX thats just what I was looking to avoid. Any sort of data storage that could compress even a small number of setters into one variable would be a win
@PlaneFlightX Make sure that the generator and air supply switches are on. When you press the engine starter, you have to hold it until the engine N1 stabilizes. (aka just listen for the pitch to stop going up)
also keep in mind that these engines do make some residual thrust at idle, and a “parking brake” piston can be retracted with AG1

+1@LotusEngineering Yeppers!
+1@LotusEngineering This is permitted, as long as it doesn't extend left- or right-ward beyond the outer edge of the tire.

+1@LotusEngineering OH SH!T ACTUALLY!? I'm proud of my babby. Also the FSGK formula will be similar to that of the Mk.VI, so keep that in mind
+1@LotusEngineering Yes, you're right about the wing scaling. If you need to you can just take a wing piece off of the AndyCar Mk.VI.
As for the angles, those are just an example of how to evenly distribute the angles across multiple decks.

+1@LotusEngineering Also scale and massScale are both XML values of all parts.

+1@Delphinos Yep! and it's gonna get better!
+1@LotusEngineering Multiple people on a team (at least two), a driver for each team, and a license for the team to participate in these events.
Also I am writing up a public PDF for anyone to view at any time.
+1@jamesPLANESii Lel. When you speak of it out loud, it has to be in a screaming voice XD
+1@LotusEngineering @marcox43 I'm writing up the regulations right now. Meanwhile, expect the formula to be similar to the AndyCar Mk.VI.
+1@TheCreatorandDestroyer99 This is exactly what I meant! Awesome idea!

+1@Freerider2142 Cool! I still wish more things synced up on multiplayer, but this is good!
+1@FastDan oh noes @Ariathe
+1@Freerider2142 Cool man! Yeah, this information is obviously free to use, just as long as you credit me. Which you are, so hooray!
+1@FastDan Cool! I'm glad I could make it work!
+1@FastDan I'm working on a mobile-friendly version.

+1@Griffon1 raises weary head okay
so is the TutorialPlane
how autopilot do?

“wathp”
Man this is cool.
@DrGoat yeah, I did that bc developing them inside the cockpit was a hassle
@PlaneFlightX also if you ever wanna collab, lmk, I find my cockpit designing skills are pretty okay

pictures?
@R3N13L that is the joke
how do I upvote… I mean updoot my own post
@T8flightcrafts yeah anything but imgur works
not gonna be using imgur anymore
@PlaneFlightX hang on
@Formula350 replying for reference
@IceCraftGaming you use it? whatchu think of it?
@MintLynx I’m more talking about the perfect positioning of the numbers
honestly I'm jealous of the custom gauges
how?!
jw, how is this coming along?
