A-BC-D(E)

A=Tank branch
B=Number of the tank in its branch

The following base model won't state
C=Body/hull variant model
D=Suspension variant model
E=Turret variant model

For example: Tank XT-02-1(1a-105)

"XT-02"
The second tank chassis from the "XT" branch

"-1"
The first variant of the original suspension/track design

"(1a-105)"
The variation / modification of the 01 turret ( a model of 01
turret ) ( base model's turret is always 00 turret ) and "105"
means this turret is arm with 105mm gun
