Haven’t heard of this one before actually. I just instantly think of countless, more likely explanations whenever I hear conspiracy theories @Irobert55
NASA creates thunderstorms to hide the sound of spacebattles. Wake up people! Wear tin-foil headgear so you can hear the aliens speaking to us (the sound of crinkling tin foil)
Were the issues just that the joystick didn’t move and there was a stray part in the designer? Seriously doesn’t bother me. Keep it up and upload a fixed version with a couple new features
That diagram is too basic to call it a design and could be applied to most light aircraft in fact. You made the mechanics of it and that’s the primary feature of your creation. Yes, you can call it your design
You don’t mind the fact that it’s optimised for going vertical rather than horizontal? It has a low top speed and can barely turn at 70MPH. It can climb the krakabloa cliffs quite nicely though @tsampoy
@Tsampoy how do you like this for your challenge? I’ve got a version optimised for high-speed coming soon so that might be better suited to your challenge
What kind of speed are we looking at for top points? Does it have to turn easily at top speed without flipping? Or should it have realistic performance?
@Maximum777 Sounds great. I've made plenty of rock bouncers with realistic performance but none of them are to scale. I think you could manage it easily
I make the suspension then the chassis then a kind-of-body-but-not-really. All my creations are bare-bones chassis and suspension - sometimes with a decent roll-cage and a seat. Once, I was really fancy and had a steering wheel. So yeah, I'm no help for stuff that looks good but I can help with suspension tips and tricks. I recommend using independent suspension like this. I'll make a sport/street chassis soon that you could use
maybe it happens with steam too? I posted some images recently and they worked fine for me but not for someone else. I'm on a laptop and your images don't work on chrome or edge but internet here is touchy and kinda broken
I guess it’s no worse then a helicopter. Except that this is moving faster, is heavier, and carries a few tons of explosives. Other than that it’s safe lol @Razor3278
No roll surfaces? So if there’s an engine failure you say: “oh well, I guess that couldnt be avoided. Let’s just die then.” Because you won’t have control lol
Damn son. Link me the vehicle at least. I think I did that too but that was just with a car that simply doesn’t break if you land on the wheels. I broke physics with random wheel xml values lol @jamesPLANESii
@Milo1628xa I'm glad you like it. Time for an informal challenge in the forums to see if anyone can get their vehicles (or mine) to get air on crazier stuff than eachother
@ThePrototype yep. That's how flying wings are meant to work. It's possible to get it working with rotators but I'd like to see a traditional mechanical version
@substygram that's because the joining points can stretch and flex but the part itself doesn't. This should be the opposite way around for accurate physics but unfortunately, not every simpleplanes user has a supercomputer capable of finite element analysis continuously at real time speed. It is possible to make realish leaf springs in simpleplanes with lots and lots of structural panels joined together but it doesn't work very well. I like stuff like this which has mechanical properties of leaf springs without looking exactly like a leaf spring
@substygram It has all the other mechanical characteristics though. Actual leaf springs just break in simpleplanes. I'll be honest here, I haven't tried it yet but it looks like it should work
I see you added a device of debatable sportsmanship

Is sky park fleet a map mod? If so, it should appear in the main menu under mod sandbox maps or something like that

Just elevons as I suggested previously. Oh, and see if you can get rudder working on the v-tail @ThePrototype
Very well done indeed
Goats are like mushrooms, if you shoot a duck I’m scared of toasters

Yeah that session got even weirder when someone brought in flying platforms and I lagged a lot... @Eggplant
@Tsampoy how do you like this for your challenge? I’ve got a version optimised for high-speed coming soon so that might be better suited to your challenge
Great! @tsampoy

Nice! Now for a rockcrawler version ;)
@iLikeipads ISC Testing grounds 1. Don't have the link but it will appear in an on-site search
Check Microsoft store where all the other dead games are @iLikeipads
That is hella fine. Can't wait for the final version. Any idea what the final part count will be?
@blackvultureaeroespace
It couldn't manage to get any higher so there were no problems ;) It started jiggling like crazy once it got over 45 degrees

@blackvultureaeroespace Have you seen the one with the badly scaled sherp ATV in multiplayer? It gets worse... much worse...
maybe it happens with steam too? I posted some images recently and they worked fine for me but not for someone else. I'm on a laptop and your images don't work on chrome or edge but internet here is touchy and kinda broken
@jamesPLANESii @Caveman999 Yeah, this failed. I'll just show off some screenshots instead lol
You're after my own heart with this build
+1I guess it’s no worse then a helicopter. Except that this is moving faster, is heavier, and carries a few tons of explosives. Other than that it’s safe lol @Razor3278
As high as my opinion is of German engineering, there is such a thing as armour piecing, incendiary rounds. Not good for fuel tanks. @Razor3278

+1Interesting concept. Only relevant for absolutely enormous builds that I can’t run anyway, but it’s a good idea. @CarnationRED

No idea what’s wrong. It works for me and it’s always worked before @Caveman999
@BaconEggs
They do for me. Same thing that’s always worked before. What browser are you on? @Caveman999
@Milo1628xa @Kerbango want to participate in this challenge
@Milo1628xa I'm glad you like it. Time for an informal challenge in the forums to see if anyone can get their vehicles (or mine) to get air on crazier stuff than eachother
@Hypakiller123 just downloaded it
@Hypakiller123 Nice. Could you upload an improved version? i want to see how this old thing goes when it's improved
@Hypakiller123 Oh yeah, I totally forgot I made this. I have made SOOO many cars since this thing
+1@ThePrototype yep. That's how flying wings are meant to work. It's possible to get it working with rotators but I'd like to see a traditional mechanical version
Brilliant. I marvel at people who can make working pushrod suspension that looks clean in simpleplanes
I don't mean to beg but... PLEASE make an elevon mechanism!

A wee bit overpowered. Did you shrink a fusion bomb to fit inside there?
+2@Hayhayjam664 Don't bother making it 1:1. As long as it looks right and performs well without being absolutely monstrous
This gives me a feeling of deja vu. I've made a few similarish things. Not many people go for decent UTV/ATV chassis because they're 'slow and boring'
+1Why did I bother spotlighting? You clearly don't need it lol
@Hayhayjam664 If you need more detail, I can get images of my old hilux for you
@Hayhayjam664 Happy to help. Make it an '86 Hilux like this
Getting close to platinum! I reckon a Hilux body on this would get you there
+1
