The goal here was to increase wheel travel to allow the suspension to soak up larger bumps in a progressive manner. The shock absorbers only allow vertical movement, which can be beneficial in certain situations. In the case of a 4-link style suspension, the axle swings in an arc and the shock does not allow this. This puts the suspension in a considerable bind which does not allow the axle to cycle effectively. The problem is solved by putting rotators on the frame and axle attachment points of the shock absorber. The shock angle is thus allowed to match that of the axle. By doing this the axle can travel in its natural arc without any unwanted resistance. This will also be beneficial to 3-link and 5-link live axle suspensions and a-arm style independent suspensions.

This plane took advantage of a glitch in a previous version of the game. It no longer works.
