"This is Big Sky, requesting clearance to land", -Big Sky, 2015 (in EU). Dude, this is absolutely fantastic! XCOM is up there for my favorite franchises of all time.
@Liquidfox Thanks, I've just not really had the motivation or inspiration to do much of anything with SP for a while, and as you can see this was a very quick thing to make (28 parts, wew)
@CjrLdy And that will only change with practice, that said, you seem good at cars and you like making them, so no reason to stop doing that. If I may suggest a car in a similar vein, a Nissan S13 would be awesome (I was making one but it turned out REALLY bad)
@realluochen9999 No problem, I should mention that I don't recommend the film, at all, it's a very mediocre movie (Independence Day 2). Nice build tho.
@DragonAerotech It's not quite supposed to be a replica, hence the "...based off of..." bit in the description. I was going to make it last night but decided to go to bed instead and still got only 3 hours of sleep. Also, it has the contra-blades (not actually set up as contras) only because the speed of the radial engine wasn't sufficient. As an aside * * * k pontoons.
@Liquidfox Well, I think I will certainly need to build a few things to warm up and get back into the swing of using SP before doing anything that requires too much care.
@Liquidfox Well, I'm tossing a few ideas around, one being a P-52 Merlin or something similar, another being a Sanka Mk.B or a sci-fi fighter craft based off of it.
@Liquidfox Ah, I saw the 3D printing stuff, it makes me very tempted to create some sort of highly detailed but unplayable replica and send that off for printing, just because it might be cheaper than buying a model of it. @KnightOfAraluen Thanks for the info, glad to see the community is just as toxic as ever, if not more so /s (that means sarcasm in case you don't know)
@DragonAerotech Hmm, I would perhaps ask that you reconsider your stance on dubbing regarding Cowboy Bebop and it's film, Knockin' on Heaven's Door . Steve Blume (The fellow who voices Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop) is a phenomenal voice actor who, in my honest opinion, fits the character perfectly with his voice performances. And the rest of the cast really doesn't fall short with their performances either. But I digress, it is a matter of personal preference, I just think that you should give it a try before outright refusing, or assuming that it doesn't do the original work justice.
@RocketLL Danke schön, the crisis has passed, but we would like to know if there's a way to A, implement a cooldown on link posting, or B, the easier solution, prevent link embedding wholesale in Discord.
@RocketLL Sorry to attempt to contact you in this manner, but I have no other means of getting to you. BottyMcBotface is down and by the gods we need him.
@ChaMikey What I was going to say (sorry for being late) is that F9 on PC turns off the UI for screenshots, so you could retake your profile pic without the UI
@Liquidfox @Razr @DragonAerotech @Leonidas1210 @General360 @CarlosDanger13 @laSoul @BRuthless @Macer23T @Toscio56 @ChaMikey @FlOu @BoxDogPuppy Nice to see that some people have good taste, thanks.
Really nice build quality, I also like that you were able to make some curves look nice, something that I struggle with when it comes to building cars.
The Focke-Waffle 190 (Sorry if the joke's already been made, too many comments to look through)
+1Always great to discover more folks who love Ace Combat
+1<< Yo buddy, take a follow and an upvote >>
@LightMindedJedi Feel free to.
@Mrloominati You should image search Caterham 7.
I like it, very similar to the Alternator from Titanfall 2.
At least you're still around @Liquidfox
I'm not sure why this isn't earlier in the hot section, this is a very nice plane.
Nice to see you're still at it.
I really like this, seems better built than my old Buggy-109 too.

@oDDDynamics Thanks, well built is what I strive for.

@CjrLdy You've got a bit more talent for car making.
You've come a long way in 4 months, good job.
Hey! That's pretty good
One of my favorite bi-planes in War Thunder, excellent work.
@RAF1 You did as well btw, I wish the site would tell us these things, but I digress.
@RAF1 Now I get to say thanks, lol.
+Rep Girls und Panzer, thanks for reminding me that I want to build a Hetzer...
In all seriousness, great build, you deserve this upvote.
@realluochen9999 No problem, I should mention that I don't recommend the film, at all, it's a very mediocre movie (Independence Day 2). Nice build tho.
Excellent work, I had been wanting someone to make a vanship for so long (only one other one exists that I know of). @laSoul You da man!

@MorningTea I mean, it can be a skateboard if you try hard enough.
@Brields95 I don't think it's dubbed anyways.
@DragonAerotech lol, thanks, I'm glad you find it fun, I find the maneuverability barely acceptable and it baffles me.
@Gestour Hi new, I'm Masada.

@MediocrePlanes @Seeras @AndrewGarrison Can any of you get to RocketLL and have him restart the bot, we need it, please.
@RocketLL Sorry to attempt to contact you in this manner, but I have no other means of getting to you. BottyMcBotface is down and by the gods we need him.
@EternalDarkness Awesome.
@ChaMikey The user interface, the compass, speedo, etc.
@ChaMikey What I was going to say (sorry for being late) is that F9 on PC turns off the UI for screenshots, so you could retake your profile pic without the UI
@EternalDarkness I just wish we could actually propel sea-craft with propellers, y'know, proper in water propellers rather than having to use VTOL.
@EternalDarkness I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, do the outboard motors work?
@ChaMikey No problem, it's a nice plane, also, I just found this the other day, but does OSX have an equivalent of the F1-F12 keys?
@Liquidfox @Razr @DragonAerotech @Leonidas1210 @General360 @CarlosDanger13 @laSoul @BRuthless @Macer23T @Toscio56 @ChaMikey @FlOu @BoxDogPuppy Nice to see that some people have good taste, thanks.
@EternalDarkness But of course I'd give credit if I decide to upload any of these.
@EternalDarkness Mind if I experiment with boats with some of your hulls?
I should try my hand at boats...
@Liquidfox Have a link to the old one, I made this like, 3 or so months ago, uploaded it unlisted yesterday for someone to look at.
@Liquidfox Original version? I never uploaded my first attempt at this, or are you referring to something else?
Really nice build quality, I also like that you were able to make some curves look nice, something that I struggle with when it comes to building cars.
I'd have to say that automobiles, Sukhoi styled jets, and cool (imo) prop planes are my specialty.
@Boudewijn Go ahead.
