@KUBI hey friend! Of course I remember you! I’d be glad to check out your page. I’ve been on the SP website a lot more recently but I never stopped building. No promises but I’ll try to stay active again :)
This plane on the surface looks good but some things could definitely be improved. The dimensions of the plane are quite a bit off but proportionally it’s still good. However, the flight characteristics need some work. The engines are waaaay too powerful for a plane which can’t hit mach 2 in real life and the take off length is virtually nothing. If you reduce the drag (I’m not sure where you have over 3000 points of drag from actually), and give it a realistic thrust with an increase around 95% for the afterburner, it will fly way more realistically. I also love the detailing you did on this aircraft. Makes it look fantastic, especially with this engines!
I absolutely love this build! The control stiffening speed was a fantastic addition. The one thing that could be better is a more realistic acceleration rate. Reducing engine power and drag (on parts other than the wheels) would definitely help with that. To maintain a realistic loss of airspeed during certain aircraft manoeuvres, you can make air breaks which open when pitch is input. Nevertheless I love this build!
@Posadas I completely understand what you mean. I started playing this game in 2013 or 2014 and it took me forever to get the hang of it too. If you want any tips or tricks on how to make planes that look good perform realistically as well feel free to ask! I don’t upload anymore but I’m constantly making new aircraft and they fly more realistically every time hahaha
This plane looks really cool! Huge jump from what you were making only a few days ago. Did you get any help on it or was it all you? Also while it looks good it’s flight characteristics are “interesting”. I suggest trying to make it fly more like the real thing. Then you’ll have a fantastic build!
@CarrotSlicingCompanyCat @Kangy hey y’all. I’m still playing SimplePlanes but I don’t really upload anymore. I felt that every time I uploaded I had to make the plane better than the one before and it started to take out some of the fun. I’ve made lots of cool and fun stuff though I can show you in unlisted posts if you’d like :)
It would also be great to have rocket motors which would use separate fuel. Not as extensive as SR2 but a choice to have solid or liquid fuel would be great. This would be fantastic for making JATO like accessories and rockets in general.
Thought it would be easier to talk here :) I’m working on a B&V P208.1 at the moment but I also have an almost complete F-84G and Supermarine Type 553. I’m gonna finish all and then I also have a challenge that I think people are going to enjoy
@Tang0five I was actually looking at how you made them. I’ve been trying to make nice swept back wings for a while but I always end up going back to one large half circular front section with pointy flaps and ailerons at the back hahaha. Nice work though!
@EngineerOtaku I’ve been collecting for 15 years. HobbyMaster is definitely a good one but often very pricey compared to similar models from other brands like corgi and herpa. You got any questions about collecting just let me know :)
To remove it entirely, you have to add a new part connection between the tips of the wings to the end of the fuselage part you used to make the wings look better
Pretty good! It looks nice and you got it to be loud but the roll rate could really use an increase. The turn radius is also a bit too tight. Overall though I like it!
Ah nice! Some target practice
+2@KUBI my god this is fantastic! Honestly one of the coolest looking realistic fictional aircraft I’ve seen on SP
+1@KUBI hey friend! Of course I remember you! I’d be glad to check out your page. I’ve been on the SP website a lot more recently but I never stopped building. No promises but I’ll try to stay active again :)
+1Poor Canadians
+1“I carry a .45 Cus they don’t make a .46” @ReinMcDeer
+7@Hedero One of the best comments I’ve ever seen 😂

+2@Kangy haha no one said it. I just feel that way myself unfortunately. I’ll post a couple and tag you. I’ll also add you on discord 👌🏼
+1@spefyjerbf okay thanks!

Apart from the copy pasted hud, I’m not sure there were many improvements lol
Ah yes, now my builds can be in the thousands of parts
+3This is a perfect AI aircraft!

@lxnylx hey buddy! Sorry for my super late reply but I remember you!

I know this is old but do you know if fuel consumption goes up or down when you change the power multiplier on the engine?

+6It would be great if you could choose which fuel tank to use first. This way drop tanks could actually be useful and dropped once they are empty
+13No one said it would have been hahaha @Gramgramofficial
I think you alone got me to platinum. Thank you so much my friend!
+1@Default4 @TatsuTheOtaku thanks guys!
+2This is a fun one to fly!
+1Better late than never :)
@CommandPuppy2 lol I guess you don’t know how to fly then
+1I love your taste in aircraft!
+1This is great! Awesome build
+1@SilverStar I keep losing track of which funkytrees guide to follow. Thanks for that!
@SilverStar I’ve been working with that so far. Is there also a way to make it activate based on g force?
Looks like someone needs SimpleRockets2 lol
+2Love me some MiG-15s that exceed mach 1 in a climb

+1@Kangy yup! That I am :)
+1This is really cool!
+1@FeatherWing thanks for this! Maybe it’ll make it work
@Tang0five I was actually looking at how you made them. I’ve been trying to make nice swept back wings for a while but I always end up going back to one large half circular front section with pointy flaps and ailerons at the back hahaha. Nice work though!
Absolutely beautiful! Looks right and flies great too
+1@EngineerOtaku I’ve been collecting for 15 years. HobbyMaster is definitely a good one but often very pricey compared to similar models from other brands like corgi and herpa. You got any questions about collecting just let me know :)
+1HobbyMaster is one of my wallets biggest enemies
Nice! It’s like if the cavalier mustang somehow had a tolerance for infinite g force lol
+1@JuanNotAnAlt have we talked before?
I saw a yacht that looked similar to this while on holiday is Croatia. It was owned by Joe Lewis I think and had a full sized tennis court inside.
@JuanNotAnAlt hey!
+1To remove it entirely, you have to add a new part connection between the tips of the wings to the end of the fuselage part you used to make the wings look better
Just so confused

+1Very nice! Flies well and looks pretty good too
+1Pretty cool build :)
Pretty nice!
