@Zoowarp yeah at low speeds it’s surprising how well they could turn considering their high speed turn radius was massive. I find that those osprey books describe all these things well. The one about the F-104 in combat is free to look at online and is definitely a good read.
@Zoowarp I actually meant it was too manoeuvrable hahaha. Like you said, the Starfighter was very fast but turn radius was huge and the turn rate was slow (mainly due to small wing area). To make sure the plane isn’t overturning, use a G meter to make sure you can maintain the correct G force at the right speeds (if you can’t find one, let me know and I’ll post one for you unlisted). The acceleration is also quite a bit too fast like you said. The way you fix this is by reducing both the engine power and drag points. Usually I like to have my drag points between 1000-2500 but it depends on the aircraft. Make sure the drag points are spread nicely across the main section of the fuselage and wings putting slightly more drag points on the leading edge of the wings. This plane also doesn’t bleed enough energy when in a high G turn so you can use an airbrake that opens very slightly when pitching to simulate induced drag.
Holy crap this is actually one of the best looking 104s on SP and that’s no exaggeration! You’ve come a long way since the Eurofighter we worked on together. Beautiful work and very good techniques for building. I think now you should work on making performance realistic (if that is what you want to do) as well as making the planes look good.
Not too bad! It feels a little stubby compared to the actual one but other than that the shape is pretty good. It does lack some details (insignias and such) that would make it stand out more though. Nevertheless, I like it a lot
@nadvgia I used to love strike fighters. They actually made a bunch of fun mobile games. I think they took most of them off the AppStore but I have the saved and they work for now.
@MelucapLabs I really love how it’s looking so far. I’m the same though. I am taking forever to finish my build because I’m procrastinating the details part hahaha
Very cool aircraft that I never expected to see on SP! I’m glad it’s here though and you did a great job at it! A few more details would have made it perfect but nevertheless it’s brilliant!
@Elizar86 I hope not. Still feels sneaky because the design is exactly the same, but slightly bigger. Credit to the original still feels somewhat needed you know?
Damn! This thing is really well made! One small detail that might help to make it better is if you set one cannon to have a longer reloading time on each side. That way it can fire more of a salvo instead of continuously. Some sort of sudder would also help with stealing but that’s pretty difficult to do in SP. Nevertheless, it’s pretty damn amazing!
Damn this is really cool! It really feels like one of those 1930s multi turret designs. You say it’s slow but I feel like it’s actually relatively fast for something of its layout and when it would have been made. The acceleration is quite slow though which you can fix (reducing the drag points and engine power will help with this). Overall I really love this build!
@BlitzBombers Lol people who want to. It’s a game where you are free to build whatever you want in whatever way you want to. If the creator wants to build their plane’s realistically, who are you to say they can’t?
This is a really cool concept! Good looking vehicle and fun to drive around. It could be useful to put soms of the machine guns at the front and sides too
My god this is a masterpiece. Pretty much everything looks phenomenal and that homage to funky trees is so cool. It looks great and flies amazing too. One small nitpick though is that the compass works in the opposite way they really do (the plane should stay still and the dial moves). Absolutely breathtaking work, especially with all those details

+1Very cool looking design as always! Flies great and it’s really fun
+1@nadvgia I used to love strike fighters. They actually made a bunch of fun mobile games. I think they took most of them off the AppStore but I have the saved and they work for now.
+1Dark docs is really good for information and entertainment. The voice of the main guy though gets on my nerves a little
+1@MelucapLabs I really love how it’s looking so far. I’m the same though. I am taking forever to finish my build because I’m procrastinating the details part hahaha
+1CaN yUo maKe a sPAce SHutTLe oN A 747 PLz
+1This looks and flies pretty good! The top part has angles which are a little too strong but overall it’s very nice
+1@MelucapLabs it has to be a public link. So posting it on something like imgur or maybe sending it to someone or a server on pm on discord
+1This was probably the most fun plane to help work on in my career of SimplePlanes. It looks absolutely fantastic! You did an excellent job
+1Real neat! I managed to shoot down one of the AI planes with this!
+1@jselbach I am very happy to hear that. Please do tag me in the comments when it’s done!
+1This is super cool! Looks really good with that paint
+1@P51Boy Mustang gang
+1@jselbach no problem! I forgot to spotlight this before but maybe it will even help more now
+1Very cool aircraft that I never expected to see on SP! I’m glad it’s here though and you did a great job at it! A few more details would have made it perfect but nevertheless it’s brilliant!
+1This is really neat! It’s very simple but looks realistic. Well done!
+1Well this is so like! Wonderful work!
+1This flies incredibly well! It looks simple but great (surprisingly because of those 500+ parts). I love the penguin missiles too!
+1@Aventadorcf18 no problem at all. Take your time!
+1It goes against the rules so I suggest removing it
+1Nice decal! I’d love to see something like this done to my older Q300 post. Would you want to give that a go?
+1@Elizar86 I hope not. Still feels sneaky because the design is exactly the same, but slightly bigger. Credit to the original still feels somewhat needed you know?
+1This is real neat! Congratulations!
+1@tutqaq it’s only small changes so don’t worry. It’s fantastic how it is! You got a new follower!

+1@KrAkenAtomic btw it works pretty well on my phone. Not much lag there so thanks for that!
+1I gotta say that looked pretty cool

+1Just flip the pickle
+1I absolutely love it!
+1This thing is so cool! Really well made
+1This looks amazing and is so fun to fly! That acceleration is crazy though but apart from that I love this build!
+1I love this! It looks great and is fun to sail
+1@BlitzBombers Lol people who want to. It’s a game where you are free to build whatever you want in whatever way you want to. If the creator wants to build their plane’s realistically, who are you to say they can’t?
+1This is really nice! It feels like a mix between a DC-8 and a 707
+1Excellent! The details you added definitely bring this build to life and make it stand out. Very cool shape to it too and it flies well!
+1This is a really cool concept! Good looking vehicle and fun to drive around. It could be useful to put soms of the machine guns at the front and sides too
+1This is quite cool! You don’t see many of these on SP. The proportions aren’t perfect but it’s pretty close. Great job!
+1This plane looks really good! Lovely detail you got in there and I have to say that the MiG-21 looks great in yellow
+1@Thecatbaron yeah it’s the tiny nitpick things that don’t really matter in the end hahaha
+1Good looking plane! It flies great too ;)

One small nitpick though is that the compass works in the opposite way they really do (the plane should stay still and the dial moves). Absolutely breathtaking work, especially with all those details
+1This is really really good! It looks awesome and flies pretty nicely too. Good job!
+1@JaeBeansS Lol fair enough. Also good to grow your hippocampus to remember all the facts you need about aircraft
+1@JaeBeansS for someone as young as you, you’re really good! Keep it up!
+1Pretty nice build! Looks good and flies well too
+1@JaeBeansS I still haven’t posted any of my planes which have an interior. You’re better at it than I am!
