I think the problem with going right might be with the back wings sort of glitched with the fuselage blocks, but I'm not sure.
And with the cockpit, the same thing happens to me, so I have no idea about that
Just a suggestion, but could you try and build an Auto Union Streamliner Type C? It looks really cool, and also has a good history. It's ok if you don't build it, since it looks really hard.

I've had military helicopters and planes fly over pretty low. Coolest thing ever. Also, I've been to an air show and it's wicked loud.
