@sexylips35 honestly, I fitted a cleaver on it and attacked the beast, once I fiered the destroyers locked on, but I just dived into the water and swam away!
@diegoavion84 I'm sorry, I know that you are really excited about it, but I just finished some more trials on the r101 and I'm really wrapped up in that. (I'm uploading the flight to everyplay, check it out for a sneeky peek)
@InternationalAircraftCompany the water was burning hot enough to melt aluminum, also hydrogen is impossible to put out, also steam out of your kettle is hot enough to rise, imagine how fast the cloud of smoke and vapour must've been rising out of the Hindenburg. Lastly, co2 puts out fire, yet candles don't get put out. It just doesn't create enough, and doesn't stick around
@Texasfam04 thank you!
I have a question, would you be comfortable if the airships walls were made of crisscrossing carbon fibre girders with insulation covered in fabric? Strong and lightweight. Also, same, uninsulated system for the tables and chairs. I'm thinking of using pure hydrogen for lift in gas bags layered with impermeable foil to keep it pure, (can't cumbust without oxygen) and surrounded by a layer of 100% helium.
@Mattangi I've been busy. Trying to make it fly like an actual Airship, and not like it's on rails. Graf Zeppelin, I'm talking about you. I was pezzed off about its performance and I'm trying to change that.
Comes with a gondola intirior and mooring mast. That was hard
@doge I want it to turn in small spaces. Also rudder
= weight, weight = more lift required, more lift required = harder to turn, harder turn = more rudder = weight = more lift, you get it. It's just easier to turn the prop.
@doge that was the plan. It didn't work. The drone I was using for propellant was too powerful. The alternating thrust steering system worked perfectly up to 6 kph. I'm going to have two inline engines next with the stern one swiveling. Should be 14 feet long.
I'm currently making an Airship that behaves just like a real one. There's no reason to get pushback for making airships. It's just a passion that I have, it's not annoying like the worms and I don't see any spam blimps (omg I've found my next project) so there's no reason for the mods to get upset. I put good work into my Airships and I hope people like them. Even though I'm one of the biggest perpetrators of this "Airship revolution" I don't think of it as such. You should try some of them out, the're really fun to fly and maneuver.
@FishMiner I have to do it every day. The planes at the airport have to do it every day. Was doing a first aid course with the junior Canadian rangers (like Boy Scouts, but with hunting and trapping and snowmobiling over 100 kilometres to stay in a tent at -40 degrees with no sight of any civilization for hundreds of miles) and i had to walk (small town) to the school at -60 with 40 kph winds. Two flights left that day. Engines are not a problem.
I HAD NO IDEA THERE WAS AN AIRSHIP TAG!!!!
@sexylips35 honestly, I fitted a cleaver on it and attacked the beast, once I fiered the destroyers locked on, but I just dived into the water and swam away!
+1CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
+1Your plane flies extremely well!, but swims even better!!!!!
Seems to like to invert. Try using fins
When you kick the engine on and start flying like Harry Potter
@dootdootbananabus oh, I just read your previous comment. No, I think I'm doing wingfoot 1 next.
@dootdootbananabus what is?
@Strikefighter04 thank you! Have you checked out my other airships? This one worked wayyyy better!
Almost impossible to land.
JUST LIKE REAL!!!!
@Strikefighter04 I'll try to remember to tag you once it's uploaded!
@Caveman999 @Strikefighter04 the images load now
@Caveman999
@Strikefighter04 ok, had to use direct link. Looks pretty right?
@Caveman999 I'm trying to figure it out now
@Strikefighter04 no
Whoops I ment ![ ] (picsofablimp)
@Strikefighter04 exactly that I put !
@Strikefighter04 do you have any weightless hinge rotators?
@Strikefighter04 all I see is white squares
Does the pictures work for you? I'm not sure.
@diegoavion84 never mind, the replay won't upload🙁
@diegoavion84 I'm sorry, I know that you are really excited about it, but I just finished some more trials on the r101 and I'm really wrapped up in that. (I'm uploading the flight to everyplay, check it out for a sneeky peek)
@diegoavion84 yea. After the r101 and bu-3 V3 and a billion random things I'll randomly think of. It will come, but it's near the back of the list
@InternationalAircraftCompany actually the Hindenburg did put itself out, a lot of fabric wasn't burning and simply fell out of that cloud unburnt.

@chancey21 I'm sorry but I'm on iOS and I have no idea on how to post pics. Also, I don't have any
Build an airship!
@Texasfam04 Thank you! One day hopefully I'll build one big enough for you to go for a ride! Ever wanted to explore Canada?

@DerekSP all of my teachers went into the hallway and cheered as it passed dramatically overhead
+1@DerekSP how? It's 12 balloons on a stick with 2 propellers. It's like the LZ-1 with no rudder or skin

And small wings
@doge and also a triple keel. This one bounces.

Looks like one of my designs
P.S. because of a sudden stroke of inspiration, I'm making a flying can of spam.

@Knight hi, I'm very busy this week, maybe can you tag me next Monday? I would love to help
@scemopazzo you can post three planes a day.
WELCOME TO SIMPLEPLANES!!!
Wow! You are talented!
@diegoavion84 I'm terrible at detailing. I was wondering if maybe you could help me with some of the final details of the bu-1
+1WOW! Looking great!
+1@FishMiner p.s. Where are you from?
@FishMiner I have to do it every day. The planes at the airport have to do it every day. @FishMiner I'm onto huge. The Canadian north needs a large scale transport service and airships fit the bill
Hi there, I was wondering if I could become an ally. I would be an ambassador of Canada, I am working on a massive project that you would love to have
I likeit
Think imma leave that up just for laughs
OMYGOD. IM ON IOS. that was autocorrect. I ment mk. 2
