@LegendIndustries22 it used to work a few years ago but after some updates, it fails the mission if the aircraft is destroyed or takes too much damage. I have seen custom missle pod ejections fail the mission now if ejected while empty.
Looks cool but the gyro based controls are wonky. You should try a modded gyro for better control. I put on peanuts gyro from way back and it improved helicopters and pod racers I had built but had a hard time flying.
@ Jerba Not without some XML, magic. If I can get structural blocks to not have a 10 unit limit I could cut the part count by about 1/3rd but that still leaves a 300 range part count. I could do a dirty build with non aesthetic wings and chop the second tank out entirely. That might put it in the realm of 150 to 200 parts. I will give it a go and see what I can come up with to make it mobile friendly. This one lags on my phone as it is.
I forgot to add that unlike the previous iterations the landing parachutes are no longer required. This model can perform short field take off and landings with minimum ground roll out. Carrier landings are possible only with the use of the parachutes. Carrier take offs are not an issue except for the shear size of the wingspan.
I build exclusively on mobile and while mods are not available you can download modded parts to build up your sub assembly library. It is the best work around I have found.
I probably should have went mono chrome or black but I was more focused on messing with the rotation tool and custom corners. Cool little feature I did not know about made the " vectored thrust" nozzle possible.
@ RadarJamJar Credit to you for the "gyro on a stick". Even though the last update put the gyro as a standard feature I still prefer the differential torque control of the gyro on a stick. Thanks again for bringing some of my un-airworthy designs to life!
@Sketchy1945 no problem, your builds are great! Just found the gyro myself and have been going back over my old builds and stabilizing them. Helicopters are a breeze to make with them.
The weight is too close to the center of lift. Put more fuel or dead weight in the front of the aircraft and you will fly fine. ALWAYS make sure the center of gravity (red) is forward of the center of lift (blue). If it is not it will not fly. If you want an aircraft to be maneuverable then you want the red do to be as close to the blue as possible without losing control of the aircraft.
@DesertEagle3450 thanks! I start with a new body style and keep working on it to get the best performance or look out of it over several aircraft iterations. Your space fighter looks great keep tweeting it! I have been using scaled engines as well. It frees up a lot of space and makes it easier to get weird shapes.
Lol yeah I have too many planes in my library so I have resorted to giving them rediculous names so I can remember what generation of build they were.... I was supposed to change the upload name...oh well.
@Sauce no need to. Guys have been putting parachutes on tanks for a while. Even when they had to build the parachute out of wings and modded links to act as lines. I'm glad the devs incorporated the "gizmo" Parachute however. I only build on my phone and things start to lag at high part counts. In any case do your thing, I look forward to seeing your build.

+1I still use this on my builds and prefer it over the gyro that was added to the game a while back. Have you made an updated or smaller version?

@AWESOMENESS360 Thank you!
I work on Cirrus every day. Nice concept! Check my Cirrus Build out see what you think!

Credit to the original builder for the fuselage.

The wing vapor was a complete surprise! I love it.
I like the way the gear fold into the fuselage
Thank you for the up votes. I didn't do much but make it fit a role I had open. https://www.simpleplanes.com/u/diegoavion84 did all the hard work.
Fantastic weapons bay. Perfectly compact and comfortable to fly.
Problem?

@Flash0of0green observant and thanks for the vote

I made a simular design and had the Same problems. Search for gyro on a stick and add them to the design to get better control.
And your empannage, is not center. Move it to the left.

@rubbishcraft thanks!
@rubbishcraft thanks!
@UnknownNate thanks!
@WEAPONSMITH but your way puts game changing force all in one area lol
@LatteCoffee55 Thanks!
@Frenchyfry no thanks I picked them up from someone else but I don't remember whom. It was a while ago.
@Sunnyskies Gotcha. I am not too familiar with the C5. I flew on P3C Orions in the Navy and only took a C130 to get back from deployment once.
@Sunnyskies thanks!
Check out my tank drop cargo plane. The doors could work for your C5 galaxy build if you want to source them as an assembly.
@awesomeman1321 thanks!
@CrackerLP thanks!
@Frenchyfry Np
@villulennuk thanks!
@Sauce thanks!
@WEAPONSMITH Thanks!
So you are the guy whom made this work of art. Nice work.
