@Chopper18 as I said, we are open for suggestions, if you find a way to pick the judges (I'm assuming anyone that is a judge is not eligible for any of the prizes nor any of their close friends) and a good system for them to decide who wins (what platform to use, how to vote...) that won't take too much time from our side, I'll sure consider it next time. I don't see how you think I'm making bad excuses, I'm just explaining why the decision was made and being open to discussion and suggestions.
@Brendorkus we are really busy and there're going to be potentially many crafts, and even if that wasn't the case, if devs and moderators picked the winner I think that could be a source of drama, while upvotes are an objective scoring method.
@Brendorkus @TodMakesStuff that's already been discussed in the comments, if you have any feasible alternative we'll consider it in future challenges. How do we pick the judges? Won't them be biased?.
Btw, if you don't want what you said to happen it's in your hand to go upvote those small creators you like and spread the word, share the craft, sportlight it...
@BaconEggs I'm aware of the porblem as I have stated in previous comments, but as you said, it's not feasible, I don't have much time to spare because I'm busy with SR2 and non Jundroo related stuff, and reviewing every single craft takes a long long time. Plus, my judging may not be the best, I'm not really that familar with SP and may not appreciate some things you would.
Something that would help is to have large accounts promoting entries from smaller accounts you think deserve winning.
@rexzion same I said to TheSeventh, it's the most feasible way that doesn't reauire adding a new voting system to the webpage, using an external platform or going though all comments filtering what is a vote and what not
@TheNightmareCompany you don't need VR to join these challenges! Just build something VR capable (scaled to fit a person, with detailed and/or interactive interiors and a camera there to fly in fpv)
@WIZARD2017 yup, in VR it's important to get as many fps as possible so people don't get dizzy, and we want to see what can be done with the parts we added in 1.11 without compromising the VR experience. That said, necessity is the mother of invention, I think limiting the part count is always a great way to push for more creative building techniques and thus better crafts.
@Random04 not necessarily, as stated in the description, just a cool craft with weapons, could be sci-fi, a modern craft, an old WWII plane, you call it
@BeastHunter read the post, there's an entire section explaining that! It'll be a scoring system based on upvotes, but with bonus multipliers if the part count is lower than the max.
@Random04 you don't need it to submit entries to this challenge, just add a camera where the player would go and make a nice cockpit (or whatever that fits the theme, a motorcycle like the one in the gif you have in the bio would be sick in VR)
TLDR: Yes, I'm a dev, if you don't know me it's because I work on SR2 but came here to start 3 challenges for crafts with less than 350 parts that are compatible with first-person gameplay (military, civil and experimental crafts). The score will be based on upvotes but by lowering the part-count even more you can get bonus points. There are some really cool prizes so make sure to add the correct tags to your craft to participate in these challenges, ending November 15th 00:00 UTC.
Loving the fish, but please, don't submit entries that don't meet the requirements if you don't want to get a strike.
+1@Chopper18 as I said, we are open for suggestions, if you find a way to pick the judges (I'm assuming anyone that is a judge is not eligible for any of the prizes nor any of their close friends) and a good system for them to decide who wins (what platform to use, how to vote...) that won't take too much time from our side, I'll sure consider it next time. +1@TodMakesStuff sorry meant to ping ChrisPy

Please, submit your entry to just one of the categories, either military or experimental
@Darkrisese nice attention to detail hahahaha
@Default4 you should be able to add it yourself, and the craft is missing more tags than that
+1As stated in the blog post:
So please, pick just one category or your craft won't be eligible.
@RamboJutter the challenge is for normal SP, but it's about making crafts that would fit SP VR, so basically, efficient crafts with nice interiors
@RamboJutter at what framerate and resolution? In VR you'd want 90fps, and a really high res
+1@AWESOMENESS360 by reading the post and doing what it says
@Sm10684 sure!
@Richflysplanes it should be working now, sorry for that!
+5@BaconEggs I'm aware of the porblem as I have stated in previous comments, but as you said, it's not feasible, I don't have much time to spare because I'm busy with SR2 and non Jundroo related stuff, and reviewing every single craft takes a long long time. Just found what was going with the VR tag, you should see it now, can someone confirm?
@Richflysplanes Remember to add the tags for it to count
@Harder258 I gave it the tag, we are investigating what is going on with that tag
+1@BaconEggs if you have any alternative please let me know, so we can consider using it if we do more challenges
@Chillybaconface the points too? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+1I've added the VR tag, don't forget to add it if you submit more entries!
@MrShenanigans these are 3 challenges
@Nerfaddict I have no idea who you are either, so I guess we are on the same page
@Numbers2 really appropriate given your name
+1@rexzion same I said to TheSeventh, it's the most feasible way that doesn't reauire adding a new voting system to the webpage, using an external platform or going though all comments filtering what is a vote and what not
@xNotDumb yeah, thing is, I am dumb and did that on purpose
@TheSeventh I totally agree with this but, what would be a better way that doesn't require an absurd amount of work?
+1@LotusCarsSub you can submit cars, tanks, bipedal robots or whatever as long as it fits the rules

+1@ReinMcDeer yeah, as we mentioned in previous posts SP 1.12 will be a small update coming alongside SP VR

@asteroidbook345 new is a very relative term my dude
+1@Vincent one with a cooler tag than you heh, who's the noob now?
+2@SimpleSquare thanks :3
