Lizarddragon, what I see is a broken image link. That suggests that you have the format correct, but the url is inaccessible. Try putting the image on the web somewhere.
@Mymessage, this applies to your' s as well.
You have the right idea. We help eachother, because we can. We need no other reason. It also keeps us rather busy. I still have not finished my flying, possibly amphibian, car. But I am trying.
Another nice build from iOS. Most of us take for granted our ability to mod. You can't, so you have to follow a tighter set of rules than the rest of us, or depend upon the help of others.
You might want to find some reduced size parts. (Your nose is pretty elivated) I noted that you are on iOS, so cannot mod on your own. If you cannot find the part you need, you can request help from the other builders. We are pretty good about helping around here, and understand that the iOS folks can't mod on their own.
Very Nice
If you don't already use Fine Tuner and Overload mods, you might want to look into them. I think you'll go far.
And, you definitely get a 'Not Normal ' for this one.
I remember the X-29 when it was new. Ditched due to high stress, they said. Oddly, it would also have had a very high forward radar return, just when we were taking note of such things. Not a word said of that point.
I have been give the piston engines some thought. In particular, the start-up direction issue. I think I may have happened upon a solution that will work, even for our iOS friends. I have a couple builds ahead of that, but I will try to let you know how it turns out.
I have taken a second closer look at the Fire Raven. You are right, there is something more going on here. I am going to keep tinkering.
I did have some limited luck when I altered the thrust nozzle vector [using Fine Tuner], but nothing near controlled flight. Also, that is cheating the problem. I would rather find the cause.
Nothing like a challenge...
Can you check, online, what the nearest library has? Or, wait until you do go by a library. That is the best way to check on an author you have never read before. That way, if you don't happen to like the auther's style of writing, it cost you nothing.
Critique time. These are ment to be helpful comments. thrust=5 ??? It is a small aircraft, so start small. Once it flies, add more power.
The CoM was way too far forward. Once I poked around a bit, I could see why. I know it would seem logical to put more mass forward to keep the nose down, but it doesn't really work that way. You want to keep the CoM forward of the CoL by 1/2 to 1 block for a build of this type and size. Setting the CoM farther forward makes the plane pitch up and down more slowly (sluggish) like a heavy bomber. Setting it nearer to *CoL makes it more agile, like a fighter (harder to handle). Best to keep it easy to fly, then shift the CoM after you have it flying well.
The pitch up of this aircraft is due to the point of thrust. It is too far below the wing, and too much thrust to boot. The CoL acts as a pivot point. Any push (thrust) that is not in line with it will cause it to turn. Your thrust ports are below the CoL, and pushing forward, so the wing pitches upward.
Can this be made to fly? YES* it can. Think of what you did with the engines and gas tanks (you really only need one of that type). Do the same with another set of thrust ports, but at win level.
It's a great looking build, but there's the devil in the details. Keep working at it.
Sorry this is so long.
(+w+) Who? Me????
@TheTekkit101 Two ways for blue text:
1. pound/ hash mark(s) at the start of a line.
## two for small text
# one for larger text
2. Six dashes (- - - - - -) on the line following the one you want to be blue.
Thank You, @napkin7
But it does have some problems that I have never fully addressed.
Not Normal Yeah !!!
= )
Don't ignore the homework. "That is part of learn all you can..." You'd be surprised how much it can help down the line.
You probably do. You just prefer to be doing this. Can't fault you there. : )
Thank You, ThiccBloke.
That's good to see. I wish I could work so fast.
Someone has been busy.
: )
Yow! One bird strike and you are history…
BOOM !!!
I have not forgotten you. I just have a project on a short deadline. I need to finish it first.
Np, @cats
Nice Job! The calligraphy on the side was a nice touch.
It is good to see that you didn't forget that the old ships had wood on their decks.
8 )
@Yak1 a lot of the old soviet jets looked square, so this should be OK.

: ) - Good job!
NP, M8. You have an eye for building different craft. Never feel that you have to follow the crowd. You will also learn more in the process.
: )
Good job on the Bear!
Thank You, @FennVectorCWA
This is good. You give credit where credit is due. And, You get credit for the changes you made. All is fair.
: )
That's quite a talent you have there. It is not easy to see the base of an image to convert it into pixels
Still here, just a little distracted. That happens some times. Too much focus.
= )
It seems sexylips35 has found a new talent. Fast at it too!
Yeah for hidden talents
That's a lot of wheels!
: )
Another Yeah! For not Normal
Great job! (Not as easy to do on iOS)
Keep up the great work.
Thank You, very much, @Kerbango
It's in my favorites!
@sexylips35
Thank You very much, @sexylips35 I like that you did get the face on Mars.

Good on you, sexylips35

Looks Good!
I like the name.

@SlowJet do you provide german translations of your descriptions?
Fair is fair.
A hover car with stowing rotors.
: )
Sooo not normal
Yeah!
Yes, but be careful. I hear that Normal thing is catching.

Glass would be nice. We could not only see into, but through and beyond the block. It could make for some interesting builds.
Be Normal, and they will stick you in a shoe box, behind a tiny desk, in the middle of a sea of tiny desks, with no hope of rescue.
