I can’t actually run this on my potato phone but I managed to download it and I’d suggest losing most of the engines and using xml on the power multiplyer
Bottom of the screen, the one nearest the middle of your screen on the right. There’s a drop down menu, choose “wing” and scroll down til you see “add control surface”. Change it from False to True then go back to the part editor where you can change the wing shape, scroll to the bottom and hit “add control surface “
Download it and fly it, you’ll see why I call it “my take on a twin boom. At 450 mph the rear end splits into 2 and the vertical stabilisers fold inwards to a 50 degree angle which is where the broken tail rudder comes into its own.
It’s quite rare (in my limited experience anyway) to find a plane that looks this good, fly’s this good and has special tech like the hover landing gear (which worked fine on my iOS by the way). Well done kiddo, this thing is awesome!
@Omega46 the rear rotators between the wheels are set to 20% movement but they’re floppy and controlled by pitch. Again I can’t fly it because of my potato phone so I can only throw guesses at you.
@APilotOfPlanes I downloaded it and angled all 8 back to 355 degrees (from 359) to try get a it to lift to 15 ft but it didn’t help, I just can’t get the thing off the water... I can make the uss beast go 40,000 mph but I can’t get a big rusky boat/ plane thing to lift 15 ft lol.
@APilotOfPlanes I’ll bet there’s someone that can come up with a funky tree that makes the front 8 shut down at a certain altitude and the rear 2 take over.
283 part count works fine on my potato (iPhone 6 (no, not a 6s, just a 6)) and WOW! This plane is awesome. I doubled the power output of the engine because it just wasn’t quite as fast as I would’ve liked but that was merely my preference. Great job
You know what? Everybody’s gotta start somewhere and the plane does look like a plane so here’s an upvote. I don’t know what they’re for for they seem really popular around here 😂
I can’t get it to do all that fancy stuff in the short clip above because my iPhone 6 is a potato but I did manage to get it out for a “flight” at several frames per second and from what I could tell it seems to fly awesome. My crappy phone aside the plane looks brilliant too. If I could run it properly it’d be going in my save folder for the odd blast around at future times.
They were all connected when I downloaded it. A couple of things you should do though,
1, go round all the hinges and change the input from VTOL to Disabled, then disable suspension on each individual wheel.
If that’s how you want it to start. Personally I always change to the “sleek canopy” and edit the size. I like 1 block wide, 1 block high and 2 blocks long. I use hollow fuselage under the canopy, edit the shape then use the position editor to sit the canopy more in than on.

Try using structural wings, they’re stronger. You’ll just have to use xml editor so you can use pitch and roll.

@jeckogecko i said if it doesn’t fit the bill to remove it. It’s not 200 parts either but I’m a rebel haha!
It’s ok buddy, you’re not the only one on this site that knows what the movie is. This is awesome!
@SpareParts smatest?

+1@AWESOMENESS360 from the top down pic above I’d say they’re mounted backwards?
Open xml editor, choose Parachute from the drop down box and in the Activation Group type exactly this
+2floor(smooth(clamp01(Activate1),0.25))

I’ll try this later but I’m upvoting it just because it looks kinda cool.
+1This is crazy. It’s slow and a complete bitch to fly but I love it!
Can’t you just make the engines lighter rather than redesigning the plane?
Thanks Griffon1crosswind
Thank you SPairforce, billygoatking and Eaports
Cheers 50calchicken. Question, what’s a spotlight?

+1Thank you Gluck.
I actually kinda like the look of it! Not overly keen on how it fly’s though, rolls too fast and pitches too slow.
There’s probably ships in PlayStation games that don’t even look this good! If I could upvote this I would but I’m not allowed cos I’m a noob 😞
