How to get Beta
Open the Steam client
Right click on the game in your library and click “Properties”
Click the “Betas” tab
From the “Select the beta you would like to opt into:” drop-down select public-test
Steam should start downloading the public-test version of the game. You can also verify that you are playing the public test by checking the version in the “About” menu from the initial menu: 1.4.0.1
@Tully2001 It's most likely that I'm new. Like most things, as you get a few followers and become known, you get more upvotes etc. I'm not worried about it - I'm in it for fun!
I tried to make something less blocky and more plane like... I used to build custom motorbike in my spare time, and I go by the rule of thumb that 'if it looks right, it'll be right'. This jet was a trial for me to try different building techniques that I have learnt from pulling apart other designs and seeing how other people put their blocks together. I hadn't realised that blocks could be placed inside each other!
@salvador3031 Hey! I decided to break out the scotch. chill out and try to make something a little tidier: http://www.simpleplanes.com/a/zyTNPR/Alpine-Black-Talon
@salvador3031 In production. I'm a Quality Engineer working on NPI (New Product Introduction). Current project (after working on the prototype Airbus A350-900) is to get the new A350-1000 flying next year.
@salvador3031 Thanks. I've worked in aviation since I left school (far too long ago...). It's a fun little game and a step away from the madness that is the real thing!
@FrankieB You beat me to it!
Thanks for the upvotes folks!
@UnknownNate Cheers! Finally has a bit more power!
Souix City here I come!
Colin Chapman would be spinning in his grave if he saw the weight of his 'light weight' car on SimplePlanes! Over 3 tonnes!!!
I really like how this little thing flies!
Top job! I used to work on these!
@Yottabyte1024 Thanks! Appreciated.

I use Steam. There is an instruction there on how to do it.
"Alpine-7-All-Weather"now available with a few refinements... and a few hidden errors.... Typical Brit sports car!

@UnknownNate He's very happy.
@Tully2001 I have no idea. Maybe being beta?
Nope... Not yet!
Time flies! Since my last comment I have been tasked with some engineering work on the current (real)) B787!
Love it. Mind you, I worked on the real prototype -900, and the -1000.... and now I'm working on the 787! Sometimes my job isn't so bad!
Next step... Arm it!
It's all fun and games until the game makes it into an AI opponent....
Bloody amazing job! Well done!
@Mohammedeyad Nope, he's not. It's Ali for Alex.
Awesome little truck!
@iiRazor @kikasshes Watching the very first prototype take off for its maiden flight is both a thing of wonder and joy, and absolute fear!
Very nicely done.
Nicely done.
If there was a longer. flat area, I'd like to see what it would top out at. I had it up to 785mph.
@salvador3031 I must admit the first drive did show the rear was just a little too low... Big boom....
Nice job! I'm working on the real A350-1000 as my day job! I worked on the A350-900 prototype before.
Fantastic job!

@salvador3031 A location where a weapon (missile, bomb, gunpod etc) can be mounted. In effect a pylon.

@salvador3031 Thanks. My old computer won't let me get too complex due to frame rates. I think a new laptop will help a lot!
@salvador3031 Less stressful more than anything else! No deadlines and no-one dies if I do it wrong...
