@jamesPLANESii Throttle up to 100% and as it hits 40mph on the runway it will be able to take off and from there, it will cruse at a comfortable 70mph in level flight.
Theres a problem. I activated the mod and I went to upload one of my planes with the screenshots that I took but the screenshots didn't appear at all. I updated the mod but it still doesn't work.
@UltraLight Wait, by crisscrossing peices, do you mean extra struts that make an "X" shape inside each square gap in the fuselage? Also I have seen some ultralights with the engine completely exposed withe the fuselage tapered down however there is extra struts and bracing to hold the engine in place. So could I just add some extra bracing to the engine or do that and add a little bit of cowling also?
@UltraLight I know, I could've made it slower but I meant it to be somewhat fast sinece the rules said that the top speed should be around 250mph for full points. Maybe I could've tonned down the maneuverablity but whats wrong with the proportions? Is something too big of too small and does it make the aircraft look ugly? If so, I'll take this post down, fix the problems and re-upload it.
@PapaKernels I was aware that the low drag would be a problem epesally during landing so I added an airbrake just you could slow down enough to make a landing.
I only made it low drag just so I could achive somewhere around 250mph in it. Custom flaps are hard to make but maybe I could add them just to inhance the look.
@AerialAerialTheSnake Thanks, I'm working on a tri-plane powered by one of the engines. If you want to put the engines on one of your aircraft, then go ahead!
@Soll From what I know, there are two types of rotary engines, there are rotary engines with the cylinders in a radial configuration, with the crankshaft remaining stationary in operation, with the entire crankcase and its attached cylinders rotating around it as a unit, and there are wankel engines that use a eccentric rotary design to convert pressure into rotating motion.
@jamesPLANESii
Wing loading: 2.3lbs/ft^2
Power to weight ratio: 0.214
Drag points: 191

@Sovetskysoyus yeah
@Sovetskysoyus What do you mean?
@UltraLight
@UltraLight I see what you mean now.

@UltraLight Ok. Let me see if I can fix that.

@UltraLight In what way?
It has 135 drag points @PapaKernels
70 drag points is the minimum and 300 is still the max?
@TriStar OH No. Last time I checked it was 150
All of the problems are now resolved @PapaKernels !
@PapaKernels Yeah, I forgot about the hub scale. Could I make an Improved version of this and upload it?
@PapaKernels I'll see what I can do about the problems.

I'M IN!
Lets get you to bronze!
@Mateuspilot Thank you!

@Franticfan01 The engine with the blue mark works with the throttle: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/4jKq4r/Sarnnox-R-300-Rotary-Engine
@AndrePlaysSP Yes, and the guns are just for sound effects.
@NexusGaming No, its not controlled by vtol, its controlled by the "FireGuns" button or the space key.

+1@Stevengaming Can't wait to see it!
@Franticfan01 Sure!
Thank you @Tsuchiisan !
Yeah, though the only reason why I decided to put modded guns in the engine was just for the sound and not really for the look @Tsuchiisan
Amazing!
+1@Panzerfaust2121 Those holes in the cockpit would have glass in them if this wasn't 1.9 friendly.
@Panzerfaust2121 Yes it does.
+1@Tsuchiisan thank you :)
+1@tsampoy well this aircraft does have a wind sheild, though not a very big one.
+1Wanna know whats also sus? Every communist party ever.
It would be interesting. I'll think about doing somthing like that soon @Kaos .
@TurtlesThatFly Thank you :)
Maybe I'll try and build the second sketch @KangaKangaTheRoo !
+1Reminds me of something out of a Miyazaki film. Nice!
+4wow I may need this sometime!
What an impressive machine!
Alright! I'm gonna participate in this challlenge.
Hello @Astro12 !
Ok, now this is epic!
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook What about the scale though?
Oops sorry. Forgot to add him @Northsoutheastthrop
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook Its not.
Sorry for the re-upload. I just had to makes some changes regarding the weight and power of the aircraft so I think it will work better now.
@russianspy ?
