@Strikefighter04 I'm glad you see my side. It's funny how worked up people can get about someone playing a game - who takes care not to engage with them in any way.
And thanks for the upvotes - far from being a bother, I appreciate them very much.
@Alta2809 Yeah, I have no idea why the developers don't make these trivial changes that would take nearly zero effort and make the game so much more fun. There are plenty of free or very cheap sound packs available, and it would be so easy to have a fireSoundType property for the cannon part, which could have a whole bunch of options from light pistols to brrrrt to heavy artillery, and a range of sci-fi sound effects as well. The same could be done for engine nozzle types, engine sounds, smoke trails, muzzle flashes, and so on.
@Aeromotive That's because I rarely use rotators etc., for that very reason. This build has none of those parts, the movement is achieved using solely airbrakes.
@Plooperman Oh, you mean you get distracted watching the bombs and crash into a mountain... well, given how stable this thing is in flight, you can easily bomb from an altitude that'll take you above any mountain.
@Plooperman If a bomb goes off close to it, then yes, it will explode. But you said don't crash, when what I think you mean is don't fly too close to exploding bombs.
Try this. I set calculateDrag=false on all parts, and it seems to have fixed it. Really cool build, by the way, I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.
@NojusGindrenas The same way as any other aircraft in SP, the only difference my software makes is that it allows me to create precise shapes, and work more efficiently.
@AzureCorp Mainly, it lets me generate geometrically precise shapes. Then there are other tools like selecting parts by painting them a given color so they can be manipulated as a group, editing connections for a bunch of parts at once, and so on.
A couple of reasons. For one thing, I had hoped that by making it available to everyone, the hate for "scripting" would die down; that did not happen. Two, only one person used it (that I know of), then he had the nerve to say that the way he used it was fine, but the way I use it is cheating. Try to get your head around that, if you will. And no one called him out for it either.
I'd have to be some doormat to let those people use it after that.
@PlaneFlightX That's good, but you could've just used the central connector part to detach the entire module in one go, and install it in one go as well. Takes a few seconds instead of an hour.
@Cabbage17 No problem. Just so you know, If you want help to make your aircraft fly perfectly, I can do that in a few minutes.
+1@switdog08 I thought only flashing lights could trigger epileptic seizures?
Thanks, @Strikefighter04. Yeah, I'm big on build quality. So much so that I wrote thousands of lines of code for it : )

@Mumpsy Thanks! 'Sled driven'... I like it!
@Alta2809 My ideas are too good to be voted on : )

+1@Strikefighter04 Thanks!
@P0TET0Z Why? Making replicas is the easiest thing in SP.
@Alta2809 I know, I wish there was a way to create better weapon sounds. The cannon sound especially is just awful.
Thanks, @Belloaka
+1@BnanaX Thanks.
@Brendorkus Did you read the instructions? :)
+1Thanks, @CRJ900Pilot. This is probably the closest I've come to building a replica so far : )
@Brendorkus If you read the instructions, you'd see that you can get the sound effect using FireGuns.
@asteroidbook345 Realism is never my goal, but I'm glad you like it.
@AWESOMENESS360 No problem : ) It's interesting enough that I looked it up.
@Aeromotive That's because I rarely use rotators etc., for that very reason. This build has none of those parts, the movement is achieved using solely airbrakes.
@Aeromotive Well, it weighs half a million pounds, so you better hope it doesn't hit you.... It can push the Beast around pretty hard.

@FoxTrotOne Well, that's true, more or less. It's just that the .-. in your comment looks like an upside-down upset face.
@FoxTrotOne If you're implying that I needed your guidance to make it work, you're mistaken.

+2@CRJ900Pilot Thanks : ) This uses my favourite flight module.
@Plooperman Why? This thing is literally crash-proof.
Thanks, @Belloaka : )
+1@TomekHellFire Thanks again. When someone enjoys my builds, that brings me a lot of joy.
+1@Treadmill103 Thanks : ) My favourite thing about these airbrake-builds is how smoothly they handle.
@TomekHellFire Thanks : ) If you like gradients, you might like some of the builds here.
+1@Strikefighter04 I guess you could say that : )
@NojusGindrenas The same way as any other aircraft in SP, the only difference my software makes is that it allows me to create precise shapes, and work more efficiently.
@PlaneFlightX Here you go.
@FuriousChicken
This and this will give you a better idea.
@Rawhide I'll try to remember.
@AzureCorp Moderately.
@AzureCorp Mainly, it lets me generate geometrically precise shapes. Then there are other tools like selecting parts by painting them a given color so they can be manipulated as a group, editing connections for a bunch of parts at once, and so on.
@Rawhide Well, thanks.

@PlaneFlightX Not entirely sure what you mean, but as long as you're having fun it's all good :)
+1@PlaneFlightX That's good, but you could've just used the central connector part to detach the entire module in one go, and install it in one go as well. Takes a few seconds instead of an hour.
+1@PlaneFlightX Cool, let me know if you'd like the flight module posted separately.
+1@Thefuriouschicken I just never thought to install some, but you could easily do that yourself...
@Belloaka Thanks :)
@Thecatbaron More like MiG-21 put on some muscle.
@Treadmill103 For some reason, I really enjoy flying through the bridges with this one, at the slowest speed possible.
@ThomasRoderick Indeed :)
+1@Ferrolon Well, that's quite a compliment, thanks.
+1@Ergi Use the X-ray mod, everything will become clear.
@Treadmill103 Try the low-speed (flaps down) mode :)
