@Ventus That's because the bombs are not actual bombs -- they're just cannon shells fired at zero velocity, so they drop like a bomb would. The benefit of this, apart from the obvious saving in part count, is that it doesn't affect game performance or the handling of your aircraft, as regular bombs, missiles, etc. do.
@Brendorkus Tell me about it. It sounds like somebody whacking a chair with a wooden plank, which is almost certainly what it is. We should start a kickstarter or something to pay for better sound effects.
Thanks. Don't worry, I'm never offended by polite questions. By "roll out of order", do you mean how it has a lot of roll inertia at lower speeds? Because that's intentional. You might have noticed how the handling changes as you vary its speed, from "loose" and graceful at low speeds to "tight" and precise at high speeds.
Or did you mean something else entirely?
The missiles are usually ineffective because I set PartCollisionResponse="None" on all parts in my builds, and very high health. Still, it's not entirely invulnerable -- a missile strike in the right spot can destroy it.
Not worthy means undeserving. I don't know what your value system is, but in mine, if someone benefits from something I created and still continues to insult me and my work, I'd have to be pretty stupid to let them keep using it.
You have the gift of knowing how to make this generator, and you use it to gain revenue. Sigh. Why is this world so fixated on money?
You're so right. We should all stop working for money and just do what other people want us to do. How about when you grow up, you show us how it's done?
It's adorable when kids who're supported by their parents preach how money is irrelevant or even downright evil. Honestly earned money is one of the best things in life, and the freedom to earn money to the best of one's capability is the bedrock of all freedom.
“the actions of certain people” is that not backlash?
No. "Withdrawing something due to backlash" applies when, for instance, you release a product, and the reaction is widely negative, so you recall it. I didn't take down the SSG because of anyone's disapproval; I took it down because I deemed certain people not worthy of it. Hope that's clear.
You know you can’t actually sell the SSG for money on the SP website.
Oh man, the number of forehead-smacking moments I have on this website.... What gave you the idea I want to sell it for money on the SP website? Even if SP had paid mods and a user base willing to pay, the user base is so small that any potential revenue would be orders of magnitude smaller than I would need to make it worth my while.
I clearly said "If I ever release it, it'll be as part of my own game." My own game. Not a mod for SP. Do pay attention.
AndrewGarrison, you’re a pro dev, so if you did fix this, SledDriver could put the SSG back up with hopefully no backlash.
Where did you get the idea that I removed it because of some backlash? I removed it for two main reasons: one, I realised it's far too valuable to release for free, and two, the actions of certain people caused me to decide not to let them use it. If I ever release it, it'll be as part of my own game.
I'm not the kind of man to back down from anything because of a backlash. The stronger the backlash, the harder I push forward.
@Anyosa9 When the message appears, you have to keep flying in the same direction for a couple of seconds and look sharp. Also make sure you're at a low altitude (under 5000 feet) or you might not see it. If you're playing on a small screen, that'll make it harder to see as well.
Another thing you can do when you see the message, is save the location, and then spawn at that location to look around.
@ThomasRoderick Well, if you use airbrakes as inert blocks (with no movement), then yeah, you can make a close approximation of any shape out of them. But if you want to use the airbrakes' rotation feature to create smooth, variable-geometry shapes, that limits the options quite a bit.
@KrAkenAtomic As a matter of fact, the structure itself is literally made entirely out of airbrakes. The only other parts are engines, wings, cannons, and a couple of fuselage blocks to hold everything together :) The funny thing is, I never used airbrakes before I started using them this way.
You should probably include instructions on how to use the weapons.
@switdog08 Yes, a variety of sound effects to choose from would really improve the game, especially for the weapons. Here's to hope.

@KlydeVenierez When did I become a lord?
@Brendorkus Tell me about it. It sounds like somebody whacking a chair with a wooden plank, which is almost certainly what it is. We should start a kickstarter or something to pay for better sound effects.
@Brendorkus Set launchVolume="0" on the cannon.
@KlydeVenierez How do you like it, hot, extra hot, or nuclear?
@KlydeVenierez A man of culture and taste, I see...
@Abhishek700

+1@rexzion Thanks, I'm glad you like it :)
@Belloaka I've been playing for a bit over 3 years now.
Hey, @CRJ900Pilot, thanks.
Thanks, @Belloaka
+1@ThomasRoderick Hey Tom, nice seeing you too.
+1Thanks, @TheChosenOne
@Zokowi Then I achieved my goal :)
@CalebRepublic Airbrakes. Lots of airbrakes.
Glad you think so, @Ultra0
Thanks, @Treadmill103. I think the GIF starts with it at around 72%, you're on to something there :)
Thanks for saying that, @tylerdeveneuxmusic
+1@UFNNICF5TF It can be anything you want it to be...
+1Heyyy, @tylerdeveneuxmusic. Good to see you too :) How've you been?
+1@FireFast212 Sure, upload it as an unlisted post and send me a link.
Glad you found this useful, @Anyosa9 @Rawhide
@V22Osprey Good luck :)

@V22Osprey You have good taste :)
@Thefuriouschicken Well, that's always a good reason. I'll look into it.
@Rawhide An astute deduction.
+1@Brendorkus Set partCollisionResponse to None on all parts.
@Thefuriouschicken What would be the point of that?
@Thefuriouschicken I'm not sure what you mean...
@Trijets Oh, right, now I remember. Terrible movie.
+1@Trijets Never played Red Tails, but yeah.
@Belloaka Interesting. Well, you're not missing much. Realtime isn't that much better than Static - High.
+1@Belloaka Well, I don't know about your device, but on my PC there's an option "Realtime".
+1@SteadfastContracting Isn't it : )
@SteadfastContracting Thanks, a 'fun' flight model is the whole idea.
@EliteArsenals24 I guess...

+1@TophatAirkraft Why'd you delete your comments? There was nothing wrong with them...
@TophatAirkraft Relax, I didn't see that as rude at all.
@TophatAirkraft Nobody has time for anything. You make the time for what you care about : )
@TitanIncorporated Best thing that can happen to a brain : )
@asteroidbook345 I prefer "muscly" : )
Thanks, @Belloaka
