@TheLatentImage Thanks man. Yeah trim and VTOL controls can be quite clunky. Like you say it would be nice to have little arrow keys or something to do small increments.
Your post has been removed. Please read these rules about posting planes.
Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.
@MisterT upload them somewhere to an image sharing site, or make a private facebook album and upload them there.
.
Then make a forum post and in the text body put ! without the quotation marks and obviously replace the imagelink bit with an actual link to the image.
@SteadfastContracting Love the look of this car. I must ask about the inspiration of the name for this though. One of my favourite guitarists had the nickname of "White Lightning".
@Mostly It's cool, I was just really confused to get a notification only for that plane to be deleted, so I suspected some "suspicious activity", which it seems isn't the case.
.
Also, regarding the wings snapping off on you build, do you use a structural wing then enable control surfaces in the XML file (or use the overload mod)?
@Mostly, I got a notification saying that a plane you uploaded was a successor to my SB-9, but it's now been deleted and this seems to have been uploaded in it's place.
.
Granted the plane doesn't look a lot like my SB-9, but there are some similarities and I assume you have voided in this instance, which is technically against the site rules. However, before any further action is taken, I'd like to get your side of the story and your motives behind your decision to upload this plane in place of the successor one.
@jjiijjjk you can't find the death threats made because I deleted them. If you want me to quote what was said in the death threat, then I can. I screenshot the comment and sent it to the other mods who also agreed it was indeed a death threat.
.
We feel the situation has been delt with and that NO apology is needed by either party as you were BOTH in the wrong, regardless of what you personally feel. Please leave the situation as it is and don't bring it up again.

@BaconEggs Everything thus far has been dealt with. However, please don't provoke aggressive behaviour among other users, regardless of whether you think your in the right or not. If you notice things between you and other user(s) starting to heat up, get a mod involved, block the individual and don't acknowledge their existence if they try to contact you through an alt.
@jackattack4554 The B-36 is definitely my favourite bomber plane. It was plagued with problems, but considering its size and the fact it was the first intercontinental bomber, all is forgiven in my book.
While the initial cost may be large, I imagine the efficiency savings compared to both trains and even airlines may be quite large.
.
Train lines are open to the elements and thus require a lot of maintenance, they are also obviously a lot slower than both aircraft and the hyperloop. Trains are also fairly old and haven't really evolved much since their conception, thus there are a lot of potential efficiency savings there.
.
Aircraft are obviously faster and arguably more efficient over longer distances than trains. However, they burn up a lot (and I mean a lot) of fuel to get to their effective altitude.
.
I think the hyperloop will get rid of these problems for intermediate distances. I doubt it will ever replace both trains and aircraft (aircraft even more so due to their international capabilities), however I think it's a great alternative to bridge the gap between the two types of transportation.
I feel like Infra red would have better potential to be a fire and forget system, but at a closer distance from the target. Perhaps something like:
Radar Fire and forget - long range, long lock on time, small lock angle (interceptor)
Radar Guided - Short range, short lock time, wide lock angle (Guardian)
Infrared - Medium range, short lock time, small lock angle
I think they haven't done them yet because of issues with performance. having multiple light sources which interact with other objects in the scene can quite often kill performance. I know through 3D rendering alone having multiple light sources as well as very glossy surfaces can really negatively impact render times.

@AirPlaneBrosTM if the other mods work, then there isn't any need to delete them. Just sometimes automatically installing the mod just by tapping the file after it's downloaded doesn't work properly, so you have to install it manually with the steps I mentioned below.
@AirPlaneBrosTM Download the map mod, open your download folder via the file manager/explorer app on your device, navigate to the download folder under:
.
storage/ internal storage/ download
.
Then find the map mod file and copy it.
.
Then go back to the storage directory (just press back twice) and then navigate to:
.
storage/ internal storage/ android/ data/ com.jundroo.simpleplanes/ files/ mods
.
Once there delete any file there with the same name as the mod you downloaded and then paste the file you copied earlier. Then exit the app and open simpleplanes and navigate to the mods menu. It should be there.
.
Hopefully everything will be working again.

@SteadfastContracting Thank you. I looked on your profile yesterday and saw you hadn't posted anything in a while, so I assumed the worst. Fortunately, my assumption was wrong! Good to see you're still on the site. I'll have to check out some of your more recent uploads when I have a bit more free time. There's a couple of which that intrigue me (like the Usfaf C-190 (7.5)).
.
Going to try and throw out an upload or two over the weekend at some point too, but it largely depends on what I get done in terms of revision for my final exam (reliability engineering). Either way, I should get around to both things some time soon.
@Tully2001 @Jerushah Thank you guys
Sorry to remove this, but there is an unofficial (but kind of official rule as it was approved by devs) on people publicly posting unfinished content.
@MI I modded the engines, weight of the parts and a couple other things. But the previous version of this (looked largely similar) was vanilla.

@APimpNamedSlickback Thank you!
@Iamsilverdahedgie It's a slightly tweaked version of this
@Thomasj041 @ThePrototype I was in this. It's a VTOL aircraft.
Just remembered what happened in the top photo:
"Okay here's the plan"
Everyone blows up

That was a blast. Some funny moments in there. 10/10 would do again.

@Alienbeef0421 what happened to him/her?
@ForeverPie yeah, that usually helps as well XD
Please refrain from encouraging hate on the site. Failure to do so will result in further action being taken.

@BaconRoll thank you!
@WOOPTYWOOP212 I posted 3 times, so it must be a great day XD

Thank you for your kind words though.
@Awsomur thank you, I've started using this colour scheme for my Strato Bomber series, so it's good to know people like it.

@Planefun @503rdAirborneSoldier what's the issue here?

@MrSilverWolf good to see you're still here too!
@Viperfox I could try an help, but the TR-3B takes a number of renditioned shapes, so I can't really help too much on that front.
@UnstableOrbit Or maybe you've risen to a higher level of aggression that my mind can't comprehend.
@Pigrider Tone the language down a bit please. Kids use this site, so it's against the rules to use toxic language/behaviour on the site.
