Yeah, BTW I have shot down dogfight opponents "guns only" in 1,000+ mph dogfights, and repeated AI engagements of 5 minutes or longer drain my mobile battery. Guess I gotta submit something here, so others have some competition. @hopotumon
Comment: glide is easy. However mixing Close air combat with Daredevil speeds is a confusing recipe. Good luck. [My various models will compete with "guns only" in close quarters similar to WW1 biplanes, very slow, or compete in Daredevil at Mach 2, for example.]
"Pretty Painted models circa WW II vintage"? Seems a surplus exists on SP website. I note that AI Dogfighter capability is excluded from your entry criteria. Why the ommision?
Testing is just something I do before I vote. Thx for voting on an old experimental "rotors control platform" build that I would gladly delete, except a certain moderator who informed me I should discontinue deleting older (very imperfect) builds ...thx @TrainDude
@CyberDyneIndustries Thx; fire missiles at 300 mph, level flight, in my final tests I found this best to remain locked on target. If someone does ACT=1 on a runway, well I can't predict what will happen.
All weight is inside structures that mount the tread; modded "negative weight" is installed near the model's centerline. Goal: make it very difficult to flip over. @Slade9698
Yeah, about 4 out of 5 launches hit the drink. Takes skill to control. (If Devil One merely points toward the sim sky, it attempts to leave the sim Jundroo planet.) @TheLatentImage
Walrus, clarification: I refer to SP weapons that will strike an air or ground target in SP sim world: "off" flight-line axis. I've had limited success; it is possible. Even for mobile-friendly builds. Good luck (from an iPhone7).
@TheLatentImage Thank you! If one actually tests this model, that person finds out that the pilot pitch & roll are critical - either hits the water or flys into the sun or skims the sea at about 1000-2000 feet; that's up to the pilot.
Thanks, @Patrick20206
I'm in. For a challenge weighted heavily to PC + XML builds: I'll use my iPhone. For fun!
Very nice! Could you mount a golden angel on the mast, in lieu of the X, sorta like the religious temple ship in "The Expanse"?
@hopotumon OK explain changes to all, I'm confused.
Thank you, @TrainDude

OK. Cool design! @AstleyIndustries
VTOL up is required. Steering (roll) seems reversed, but, maybe that's just me. A cool concept build!
Excellent detail! Simple add steering control (roll) to both rear rudders, and then I enjoyed boating this model on my iPhone.

Excellent build. The tail gunner is especially nice. (Someday, someone will figure out how to make the defensive guns fire in multiple directions).
Okay design, okay flight; the best SP game world cockpit I've tried, so far. Great build, Cedy!
