You answered the @ChallengerHellcat question quite well, IMHO.
You must get a variety of questions on anything you post, as do I. Some users are still chewing bubble gum and watching TV comics (those are the Mods BTW) and others fly actual aircraft and even pilot real world boats, and some teach college physics or manage entire engineering programs. You can't keep all happy at once. Just post what you like doing! @SledDriver
Yes, you provided that option. I used it. OK, but. You can place a secondray cockpit, set as primary, to change NOT the pilot view, but rather, the gun aiming view. That's all. For most SP users, they may not notice the difference, so why indeed change anything..? @SledDriver
SledDriver, on a mobile screen, it helps the mobile user if the gun crosshairs show exact aiming point. Example, via a simple android tablet I altered your build to demonstrate different crosshair view, and feel free to re-use the cockpit part used in changing the aiming viewpoint:
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/tdlGZ6/Athena-Sleds
@SledDriver All too true. The only challenge was to Destroy a Bridge via "Stealth Gunship". Aircraft and pilot survivability were not included in the challenge. I have a more effective build for bridge destruction: an unposted Tomahawk cruise missile. No "guns" on a missile, however.
Thanks @SledDriver Note, the guns are new, not derived from anything you have posted (for show and flair only), and 99% of the build is based upon old V1.2 SP version building blocks including the VTOL. FYi.
I use mobile devices for builds, since they have a better UI. I do not have a pc, yet. So far, I do not mod entire builds. I dunno why bomb blasts are limited to default menu yields. Guns/missiles are different: bullets and burst duration can be modified, I'm told. Missiles can have their radar lock-on properties and their speed modded, I'm told. Were I to post a collection of mobile-friendly, tested mod weapons, it would look different from this old V1.2 SP posting, And, I would require SledDriver's permission to do such a post. Ethically, I could send you links to builds of mine which contain drastically modded weapons, if you'd like. @Texasfam04
Thx. All oversized weapons in this post, the ones I've tested, work no better than stock menu weapons (e.g., no bigger Boom is caused by scaling). A couple of the downsized landing gear and inferno missiles work quite well. I use them frequently in testing and on a few posts. @Texasfam04
OK I believe you, yopu have done your research. I can remove double-hull from the post description, may add that it is roughly based on the U-96 from Das Boot. @Irobert55
We mutuallly agree that I usually don't attempt replicas, since detailed replias are very hard to do via iPhone. I've no doubt this is an excellent for a windows build; I cannot download this build and test it on a mobile device, therefore cannot vote on it. @Blue0Bull
Agree, he can build anything! It would be interesting to see he could come up with weapons that do not include standard or modified Jundroo bombs.@TheChosenOne
Thanks for testing. I can hit a bridge about 90% of the time; sometimes the aim reticle is aimed to low or off-center. If you fly down the bridge centerline from about 1,00 feet at 500 mph, you'll usually nail the brigde with two propelled 500 lb Jundroo bombs. @TheChosenOne
Thx for clarifying, I never examined one of these, they were way before my time. Just repeating building guidelines provided by Friedrich Krupp Germaniawerf, the WWI-WWII company that also built the famous U-96, used in the movie Das Boot and the first Indiana Jones movie. Claims are the inner hull is not seen from the outside. Outer hull does contain the diving tanks. @Irobert55
The Log Out followed by login on the designer screen worked easily on my Google Pixel tablet. The iOS account testing will take a few hours longer, I'll keep you posted. Many Thanks for pointing out the obscure mobile GUI option! @AndrewGarrison
@AndrewGarrison Thx! But, This application installs independently of web dialog. I log out completely of all Chrome or Safari accounts. My account "Stingray" is established via GooglePlay and the Apple Store. These stores perform the log in you speak of for
Apps on my Android device and Apple devices/desktop. Upon successful App Store login, no further login options are provided. The Apple Store hosts it's own domain on the web, one which never forgets my ID, so when one logs out from the App store, the store saves login credentials, stuff I cannot delete. Upload dialog allows 'share app, gift app, more by this developer, review app (5 stars), developer website, and privacy policy'. No other options. Upon download, no secondary login challenges are provided, although if they were, that could fix this annoying "you do not have an account" message I keep seeing. (My banks and stock account websites all have 3 tier login challenges, including 2nd factor authentication, fyi.)
Concise problem is that Apple allows ALL Files, including App files, to backup onto a new Apple Device from OSX and iOS. EXCEPT FOR: SimplePlanes. If SimplePlanes wants to be a thorn in the side of Apple Product users, then so be it. I'm just a humble SP App user/builder.
For Truth in Advertising, Jundroo should to drop the sales logo "for Mobile" from it's application store presence. Releases of some products, such as SimpleRockets via Steam-only are an example re Jundroo limitations. Admit the truth: this is a PC gaming product. @AndrewGarrison @HellfireKoder @Gestour
Seems your reference to a button on the upload screen refers to either: a Steam interface (which I have for OSX) or some undefined PC online game download option. Mobile purchases and downloads of SimplePlanes do not have a separate unique download button. Once you've downloaded the GooglePlay or Apple Store App, the App opens with PLAY, ABOUT, SETTINGS, QUIT. No other mobile App functions. I use both Android and Apple Apps. Request you that you treat a bug report accordingly. @Gestour @AndrewGarrison @HellFireKoder
Compelled to clarify: my newest iPad creates all other normal App files & documents, saves them, and logs in to third party Apps flawlessly.
EXCEPT for SimplePlanes.
The SP App, (not the SP Site) will not allow me to use the App as intended, e.g., no uploads permitted. Downloads, Settings, and Build and Fly options are allowed via the Jundroo mobile App. But, all uploads via the App state I do not have an account on SP, even though I do have an account. This limits my contributions to the SP community, or the future SR cummunity, and makes me re-think acquiring new Jundroo products on any platform. The message I keep receiving tells me that Jundroo has a problem with mobile Apps. Thx for attempts at helping @Gestour
Of course, unles there are 2 different logins required -- therein lies the glitch. "Play," "About." "Settings," "Quit" doe not provide an alternate login. Perhaps you refer to an Upload Button on GooglePlay or Steam, somewhere. The Apple Store has no such option. One is either logged in to the Apple Store, or one is not loggged in. I suspect this is an Apple product vs Google or PC product glitch. Just wondered if anyone else has hit this "Unable to login to SP App" before while SP Site login works normally on the device, on any platform. @Gestour
@SodiumChloride Thx, the original builder's cockpit remains mounted on these parts, yet his SimplePlanes profile has disappeared. Fyi, the scaled engines turned out okay. The weapons/bombs have unpredictable behavior.
BTW scaled missiles (smaller and very small) were posted months ago by someone. Not all of the actually worked. I've selected the missiles that work on Simpleplanes posts to the community. The SP community seems to expect that anything posted will work (errr -- really?)
Thank you for testing/upvoting. This build’s guns and missiles overwhelm Snowstone Mountain defenses. I use custom Jundroo location positions at all Jundroo’s islands both dry land spots and sea locations. The most interesting launch positions are 1) Indoor Runway directly underneath the Snowstone missile battery, and 2) Water dock at sea level directly underneath the indoor Snowstone missile battery. However, the SSN-774 weapons are not intended for Murphy bridge demolition. The weapons take down entire fleets or Snowstone batteries, which includes intercepting hostile missiles in-flight.
Okay you can XD, but I haven’t even tried to demolish a bridge in over a year. A slow aircraft or a fast boat build could host bridge demolition munitions. I hope you are open minded regarding stealth platforms that are entered. @TheChosenOne
Few folks, it seems, want a new air-to-ground strike build. This challeng is the exception. I may not enter one of my 20+ builds that satisfy the criteria, but, I like the IDEA and hope you get many entrants! Please post the deadline for others, and any bonus points you will give those winners. Thx.
Bluntly: the AppleStore has Apps acceptance standards that disallow some of the modding preferred by prolific Simpleplanes builders. Specifically, no run-time code modifications are alowed on AppleStore products, to begin with, and there are other limitations. All programming improvements are released on PC Win-10 and higher platforms. The rest of us, Google OS tablets and iOS tablets, use older Jundroo releases. I could suggest that Jundroo think outside of that particular"build-release- build" process, but, I will not since Jundroo has such a small staff. @Spectre2520
@Spectre2520 @Sledriver Sometimes I've submitted bug reports, as beta tester. I've got just a small view world view, per Jundroo standards, in the huge commercial market. Need help with the big world view, open to interpretation.
I never pegged you as a wishful thinker re Jundroo updates. Agree, since I’ve received similar wishful comments from some SP “Silver” builders over the last 3 years. @SledDriver
You answered the @ChallengerHellcat question quite well, IMHO.

@SledDriver OK.
@SledDriver Disagree. With the pilot Manning the manueverable warhead the Tomahawk strikes 100% of the time.

A monster. Tested via OSX.

Nice tail dragger! Only lasted about 1 minute after takeoff at Avalance Airport (pilot entering prohibited air zone,)
OK I believe you, yopu have done your research. I can remove double-hull from the post description, may add that it is roughly based on the U-96 from Das Boot. @Irobert55

Thanks for the upvote @Mk1990B. although at this point someone else's account seems to be getting the upvote points not me. Still investigating. Thx.
Thank you @WarHawk95

Once I'd figured out Vtol was via landing gear, the flight is acceptable at higher altitudes and speeds. Looks nice!
Cool video!
Very nice build with excellent vtol!
Thanks, over 12 of these parts actually work well enough to use in your future builds, @RailfanEthan
Thank you, @JFebS
Thank you, @PlanesAndThings2
