@Puredeath - it is a cool design...but yeah...that intake would be a bit of a challenge. I wish we could do donut shapes with the fuselage block...we could have like inside/outside buttons along with the forward/backwards buttons.
@Puredeath - sorry bout that. And he has a lot of really cool artwork. I was looking for a new project in sp so I googled cool planes and that's how I found him. He has a lot of Cold War esque planes and some more modern looking stuff too. Good place to find ideas and inspiration...
@LordofLego - you are right...That's what I get for rushing my testing...it hits 300 when pitched down slightly...if you want...you can change the bottom fuselage block (the one that covers the inlet) so that it has 5 gal of fuel and weighs 300 lbs...that will make it pitch up slightly at a top speed of 285. Takes a bit to get to that speed...and be careful on takeoff...if you pull back to hard the plane stalls.
Well there we go! thomass08 gets all the credit for awesome replica! @thomass08 - Your other other planes look amazing too man! Keep making sweet planes!
@WalrusAircraft - I have been playing around with clipping the fuselage blocks over the wings...it does an alright job...but it adds a bunch of weight...do you use modded engines as well? And also I'm on iOS mobile, so I don't know how, or don't have to ability to do much modding myself...which is sad cause I could use the extra flexibility in a lot of my designs.
Yeah...I can find it in search...but it won't open up to the plane...best I can trace back...I believe the original was from either Redrunner or thomass08.
Actually I don't know what happened...this was supposed to be a successor to someone else's plane. All credit goes to them...I just added weight so it wouldn't backflip after takeoff...
Try mirroring the right side and then mirror the left...that usually works for me.
@letsgofast11 - How many entries allowed? Bomber or fighter?
@Puredeath - Thanks!
@draymond - Thanks! I really like his artwork...I'm going to try to build a few more planes based off of his designs.
@Puredeath - I used your idea for that inlet...I've uploaded the completed plane if you wanna give it a look.

Thanks...surprisingly I didn't have to tweak the CoL or CoM to get it to fly...got lucky I guess...

And to answer your question...yes...fuselage blocks were used to "coat" the wings...but I don't know how they did it.

Center of lift, center of thrust, and center of mass.
