@screechy totally relatable. I made a mirage 4000 with a cool paint scheme and someone else made a worse (in my opinion) mirage 4000 that got more upvotes which was really discouraging. But don’t let this build discourage you, if you put time into your build such as adding a functioning cockpit which I haven’t done yet then it will probably get more upvotes. Also, another deciding factor is the previous builds. I was looking for a good f-111 and couldn’t find one so I just made one.
Great plane man! Very nice details like the inlet funneling to the engine and the very well made cockpit. Keep it up man, I don’t see this plane made often!
Not to say your plane is bad, but it truly hurts when you make the same plane that is more detailed, has a cockpit, and realistic performance and you only get like 3 upvotes 😭
@Mattheww just posted my MKIII variant. Go check it out! It has a nicely detailed cockpit and also expect a float set variant soon too! Also I’m glad you like this series of aircraft. I’ve enjoyed making them as they are very simple, but nice looking planes.
This is easily the best f35 I’ve ever seen on simpleplanes. It is absolutely stunning with amazing details and amazing performance and features the real f35 has. Great work on this plane man.
@Alcher I fixed it. I figured out the brakes are too strong. Also if it’s hard to touch down onto the runway, then that’s the MiG-21 for ya. It’s sort of a delta wing design.

@SourDoughBread I’m currently working on some Russian fighters/interceptors like the MiG-21S (R-13-300) and may actually work on a yak-141 after I bring it to completion. Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the great builds.
